09.08.08 ~ Wednesday ~ It is with great anticipation that I am making my “maiden voyage” to Great Bend, Kansas, the heart of America. In 1996, the very first Glory Ring for a State of America was made and sent to Mark and Shirley Tomlin in 1999. During this trip, I was given the opportunity to meet Mark and Shirley and connect with the beginning of a five-year project that ended in 2005. Although, at the time that I made the Glory Ring for Kansas, I could not begin to imagine that the LORD would want a Glory Ring for each State in America.
Over the years, the following is what the Holy Spirit imparted to us for Kansas:
1996 ~ For the State of Kansas ~ THE FATHER'S HEART! Sent to: Shirley Tomlin, Great Bend, KS, USA - February 1999. Scripture: 1 John 1:1-3. Handmade by Jennifer Lynn Joy
“In 1996, the Holy Spirit gave me a vision of many colorful streams flowing out of the FATHER's beating, pulsating with life, overtly loving heart. Then HE gave me a picture of the United States and there were many streams flowing out of Kansas all over the world. The Glory Ring is made of a Wicker Heart that hung in my daughter’s room since her birth in 1977. Wicker is symbolic of the Apostolic being released or sent forth as Moses was sent forth in a wicker basket. There are 105 ribbons of 3 yards in length on the ring. Three is for the Resurrection Power of Jesus.”

If the challenges of acquiring the airline ticket or the difficulties of the flight day on September 17, 2008 were a comparison to all that GOD had planned for Great Bend, then I knew that even though the resistance was on a new level, the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY would prevail, contend against HIS enemies and demonstrate HIS presence, power and love in Great Bend. Three flights and ten hours from Portland Oregon, I arrived around 7:30 pm in Great Bend, greeted by a very, warm welcome of the LeRoy family.
09.18.08 ~ Thursday is preparation day for the two days of workshops. Pastor David accommodated me as we gathered the needed supplies for the workshops and took a mini-prayer-tour around Great Bend. During the afternoon, we transformed the sanctuary of River of Life church into a workshop setting.
09.19.08 ~ Friday ~ Each Beginning Workshop is different because of the people that participate and the anointing and presence of the LORD that they bring. This was a workshop of family and friends with an atmosphere of ease, comfort, kindness, peace, unconditional acceptance and freedom. It is the same atmosphere that River of Life brings to the community…the doors are open and there are friends inside.
During this workshop my hands were hands for Daniel (age 19) in a wheelchair. So while he gave me directions, I assembled his ring. It was just like being at home, when PAPA’s hands cover mine and we make a ring, a covenant ring, a symbol of HIS song of love.
As always, the Holy Spirit “shows up and shows off” in ways only HE could truly describe as the prophetic words are released. I never ceased to be amazed of HIS overt faithfulness.
In the Evening, we shared a Surrounded by HIS Glory Soaking evening of our FATHER’s sweet tangible presence. The Holy Spirit imparted to me to share with those in attendance over sixty Scriptures about Glory. It was a rippling of glory upon glory upon glory upon glory…
09.20.08 ~ Saturday ~ The Advanced Workshop seems to always have an edge about it, a tension in the spirit realm as each one moves through the steps of making a tinsel glory. For some, it is very easy like taking baby steps and for others, each movement is a giant step of faith. The Holy Spirit had given me a vision for Elaine’s ring, so I made Elaine’s Glory Ring and she made Daniel’s. It was a combined effort of communal love.
In the Evening, we shared an Open Community Experiential Communion. The presence of Jesus Christ, our King and Messiah was very tangible and life transforming. It is HIS way, to transform HIS people with HIS redemptive love, atoning light and forgiving laughter.
09.21.08 ~ Sunday ~ In the morning, we gathered at River of Life Church for community worship and fellowship. It is always so sweet in the spirit realm to see the newly made worship instruments released in a corporate worship of exaltation of KING JESUS!
In the Evening, the Holy Spirit had impressed upon me to share some of the Virtues of Christ Jesus followed by a Community Ice Cream Social. It was too fun! A cherished and sweet time of fellowship with family and friends.
09.22.08 ~ Monday ~ In the morning, we met Mark and Shirley Tomlin then began our Prayer Journey Day ~ hours together going to the north, west, east, and south gates of Great Bend and many places in-between. We touched the Santa Fe Trail, Pawnee Rock, Cheyenne Bottoms, The Arkansas River, Zarah Park, The Government Buildings, Schools, Homes and Churches with the anointing oil of Jesus Christ, because we believe HIS pure undefiled anointing breaks the yokes and bondages over territories. For HIS Eternal Glory! And we expect HIS signs, wonders and miracles to follow HIS footprints. One of the things birthed by the Holy Spirit today was the anointing to begin making Glory Rings for schools. So, Eisenhower Elementary Eagles School and Great Bend High School Panthers will be our first two prophetic worship instruments for schools in America!
09.23.08 ~ Tuesday ~ A very strong wind came in during the night and because of unexpected schedule changes I was late to the airport…mercy JESUS!
My heart is full of gratitude to the LeRoy family who stepped over the threshold of greater faith to host this ministry outreach for our FATHER’s Eternal Glory!
