..."That My joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full." John 15:11
Oswald Chambers writes:
On a rare occasion I have met someone who for a moment in time was absolutely surrendered to doing what GOD directed them to do and was truly joyful in the task. Joyful in spirit, soul, body, mind, will and emotions. Yet, I find that generally speaking we struggle with our humanity to give it all to JESUS, to surrender all. We may do what HE asks but is our heart completely surrendered? And if our heart is surrendered, then what are our thoughts? It seems there is usually a place of uncertainty, fear, anxiety, pride, arrogance, and/or other expressions of our broken humanity. Yet in HIS sweet grace, HE accepts our offerings of obedience as we diligently purpose to allow Jesus to be the center of our beings from which flow rabundant ivers of HIS living water.
