“You enlarge my steps under me, and my feet have not slipped (2 Samuel 22:37, NASB).

I see you walking across America wearing huge army boots. The black boots are spit and polished. They are laced up tightly, all the way to your knees. You are taking giant steps across the land. You are wearing a full-length, full-skirted dress that is hiked up so that the boots are fully exposed. Wherever you go…you are smashing hovels (small miserable dwelling place - symbolic of where people get stuck in seasons where they cannot move forward in GOD)…and as you do…people run out of the hovels. Some of the people recognize Who sent you and run to you…you scoop them up in your arms and hand them up to GOD. Some of the people are paralyzed by fear, stunned and do not move. They wait for you to come and scoop them up in your arms and hand them up to GOD. Some of the people run away. You grab them quickly and hand them to GOD. Their hovels are crushed under your feet and they cannot go back to where they were.

“THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME, BECAUSE HE ANOINTED ME TO PREACH THE GOSPEL TO THE POOR. HE HAS SENT ME TO PROCLAIM RELEASE TO THE CAPTIVES, AND RECOVERY OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND, TO SET FREE THOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED, TO PROCLAIM THE FAVORABLE YEAR OF THE LORD” (Luke 4:19, NASB).
