June 6, 2003, Friday ~ As we flew out of Portland, I am reminded that this is the 96th Anniversary of the Portland Oregon Rose Parade and Pentecost Weekend. Additionally, on this week I graduated from Pleasant Hill High School 34 years ago and received my Bachelor of Science of Psychology from Northwest Christian College, Eugene, Oregon nine years ago. So, it seemed significant in terms of a season of graduation, an increased release of the Holy Spirit’s fire, and a release of the Fragrance of the LORD.
We arrived in Seattle safe and sound at 2:33 PM and I immediately found three new pennies symbolizing: One Sent by the LORD. Giggles spontaneously bubbled up and out of me as they often do, and I wondered what adventure the Holy Spirit had already planned. Perhaps the three pennies meant three open doors or three graduations from recent learning opportunities from the LORD. I pondered the infinite possibilities of HIS plans, which HE shared nothing as we boarded the flight to Missoula at 3:07 PM through gate seven. The flight was smooth. I love easy flights. Deborah met me at the Missoula Airport; the temperature was 69 degrees, a noticeable 30 degrees cooler than Seattle just an hour earlier.
As Deborah drove into Lolo, three white crosses painted the blazing blue sky along with some smoke hovering over the mountains in the distance. Perhaps the three pennies that I found at the Seattle airport were symbolic of three white crosses indicating the crucifix, resurrection and ascension of YESHUA!
We stopped by Ray and Dorothy’s for a home cooked dinner. Bless GOD! I unloaded a large portion of my suitcase – fabric for flags and tablecloths. Glory to GOD! Dorothy’s gift and portion to HGRM is to make Worship Flags, rose quilts, and tablecloths. Approximately 98% of all that Dorothy made was given to other ministries and intercessors. We are very blessed and very grateful to share the anointed treasures of GOD!
June 7, 2003, Saturday ~ In the morning, we left at 10:04 AM, a comfortable 69 degrees, and drove the short distance north into Missoula. The Holy Spirit directed us to a thrift store, which was of course having a 50% off sale…just more of our FATHER’s Jubilee Blessings. We found adornments for an Australian Glory Ring and a Gold Key for Montana. We walked and prayed through the Farmer’s Market area and through downtown.
Then we met Pastor Christine for lunch near the Clark Fork River. As the LORD promised this trip would be a crossing over experience, I anticipated HIM to clear out the confusion and give HIS own eyes to see. HE was ever so faithful. After lunch, we walked along the river and I suddenly realized that I was standing directly across the river from the first time I drove into Missoula, July 2002. We have entered into a season of crossing for anyone that wants to cross over into their promised land. 2003 is a year of double portion covenant promises being released through the favor, love, grace and mercy of our Heavenly Father. After a time of prayer and pouring out anointing oil to release LORD GOD’s blessings into the area, we took a ride on the Carousel and headed back to Lolo.
We met Deborah’s daughter, Jennifer in Lolo, then Brandon joined us and the four of us hiked up the Kootenai Creek trail. The memorial hike was to honor Emily, a childhood friend of Jennifer’s that drowned in the creek seven years before. Jennifer poured Anointing Oil into the rushing, cold water creek. The Holy Spirit ever so gently poured healing, closure and HIS grace into this brief moment in time to honor Emily, a childhood friend.
In the evening Pastor Christine and her husband, Dave came over for Jeff’s famous BBQ salmon dinner. A sweet time of fellowship and prayer was enjoyed by all. The LORD opened the eyes of the spiritually blind and increased HIS discernment level in HIS own. We are eternally grateful and so very blessed!
June 8, 2003, Sunday ~ The morning encompassed church services at the Florence Carlton Community Church. Prophetic intercessory prayer for this church fellowship was the focal point of this trip.
In the afternoon, Deborah, Brandon and I drove into Missoula to hike to the “M” on the mountain above the university. Deb and Brandon made it to the “M” and poured out more Anointing Oil, while I stayed at the lower level. Someday it is my dream to have the lungs and the feet to hike again!
We stopped by the local shopping mall on the way home and had a very divine prayer appointment with a bookstore providing a huge promotion on a new release: Harry Potter. I find it completely incomprehensible that those professing to be Christians recommend this book for their friends and children. My question is this: If GOD is your loving father and you trust HIM with the outcome of your life, do you believe HE would recommend this book that teaches the innocent to cast spells? Isn’t it the antithesis of HIS loving, giving, kind, holy, divine nature?
In the evening – there was a raging windstorm from the east which echoed the way I felt about the release of Harry Potter books as required reading in public education. The windstorm was unprecedented for the western terrain of Montana. The tormenting storm lashed out creating countless electrical outages and a brilliant light-up-the-sky in radical fashion electrical bolts of lightning storm.
June 9, 2003, Monday ~ This was our day to meet with the HGR – Branch One – Lolo Intercessory Prayer Team. The day held prayer, a time of questions and answers, a teaching time, brunch, communion, more prayer, and a foot washing. It was a completely sweet time in the presence, glory and rich anointing of the LORD JESUS CHRIST!
In the late afternoon, Deborah and I headed south to Hamilton. It was a warm, sunny, 77 degrees. We stopped by a locally owned thrift store and were blessed with some wonderful scarves for thirty-five cents each. Since most of the commercial thrift stores in the Portland Metro area have raised their prices up to $9 per scarf, we often look when I am in another territory where the prices are more reasonable. GOD is faithful to provide, and it is our desire to be faithful stewards of HIS provision.
In the evening, Deborah and I worked on Glory Rings and the finishing touches on some other projects. A surprise phone call from friends in Kalispell, Montana led to a meeting in Missoula the next morning.
June 10, 2003, Tuesday ~ I met Russ and Ginny in Missoula, where we shared a meal and allowed the Holy Spirit to bring forth the fullness of the FATHER’s purposes in this divine appointment. Russ and Ginny had recently moved to Kalispell from Texas. Last weekend, I met their best friends in Snohomish, Washington at a wedding. Obviously, the LORD is opening doors of connections for HIS strategic plans and purposes. Russ is known as the “Apostle of Joy” in Texas. The LORD instructed me to give to him the gold key that we had just purchased on Saturday Morning. In the spiritual realm it was symbolic about having a key to Montana, immediately. We are in an accelerated season – a season where the LORD is moving with precise, quick, and decisive movements.
Russ and Ginny dropped me by the airport. It was 77 degrees, as I entered through gate five, a direct flight to Portland, which is a new flight pattern for Alaska Air. Cruising comfortably at 33,000 vertical feet above sea level, the flight arrived home nineteen minutes early. We left Montana at 3:30 PM and arrived in Portland at 3:35 PM. Now that was delightful, a five-minute trip home! (Yes, there is a time change) The key entered the door of the apartment where I reside at 4:44 PM (Ezekiel 44:4).
The intercessor’s fervent, faithful, righteous prayers of this ministry are the keys to each door the LORD opens and are literally the wind beneath my wings that cause me soar with the fullness of HIS purposes and plans being released to HIS own and for the advancing of HIS Kingdom on earth.
