There are many kinds of cards that we use in our daily lives. Some examples are recipe cards, greeting cards, coffee cards, business cards, place cards, index cards, study cards, credit cards, baseball cards, identification cards, motivational cards, perfumed cards, game cards, educational cards and with a bit of nostalgia – the dance card. The cards all have one thing in common: Communicate a message.
Some of the many meanings of communication are: to pass along, impart, transmit, to make known, give information, to receive Holy Communion, to give or exchange information, signals, or messages in any way by talking, gesturing and writing.
If you thought or pictured your life as a card designed by the LORD GOD your Heavenly Father, what would it say?
Risk Taker! God’s Precious Daughter! ADONAI’s Blessed Son! No Fear Here!
Godly Father! Integrity Walker! Friend of GOD! Disciple of YESHUA! Trusted Son!
Champion of the LORD! Overcomer! Pastor! Evangelist! Teacher! Glory Walker!
Prophet! Apostle! Worshiper! Glory Dancer!True Shepherd! Mother of Zion!
Honored Wife!Husband of Integrity! Faithful Servant! Giver! Child of God!
Our lives are like GOD’s calling card. We are HIS calling card. As Christians, as sons and daughters of the Most High God we are HIS message. Moment by moment we live as HIS communicators. What message do we communicate? How do we communicate that message? We all communicate differently as GOD is multi-faceted and created each of us to be different and unique according to HIS design.
Are you GOD’s greeting card or HIS business card? Are you HIS educational card or HIS favorite recipe card? Are you HIS perfumed card carrying the Aroma of YESHUA or are you HIS place card helping HIS people to find their place at HIS banqueting table? Is your card edged in HIS golden, glorious love? Does the design yet speak another message?
I believe that we all have a picture or thought in our minds about who we are in YESHUA. For those that met YESHUA, as their Messiah later in life, they have the before I met YESHUA picture and the after I met YESHUA picture. Sometimes we mix up those pictures and thoughts. It is important to have the most accurate and clear picture in our minds as to who we are in YESHUA!
The optional assignment is for you take a card and write or draw the picture as GOD sees you today. What kind of a card are you in HIS vision, in HIS perspective? Allow the Holy Spirit the time needed to reveal to you HIS thoughts about you because you are precious in HIS sight!
Remember that you are a personal representative of YESHUA, Our Messiah on earth today!
