A Legacy is a Gift to the Next Generation. Each individual chooses the type of Legacy they will leave their family and friends. I am very grateful that my Dad chose to leave me a Legacy of Life.
In loving memory of My Dad...the one who taught me to Walk in Integrity, Stand in Faith, Trust in God, Work Hard, Seek Wisdom, Ask Questions, Never Stop Learning, Speak Truth, Never Give Up, Respect America's Flag, Pray Often, Avoid Addictions, Be on Time, Keep Commitments, Love Unconditionally, Be Strong not Dominating, Forgive Often and read the Bible daily. He was a first generation Christian, a WWII Veteran, a brother, uncle, Dad, husband, grandfather and friend. He left a rich legacy for his family. What I miss the most is that he always believed in me.

Many years ago, my daughter invited a friend from her Girl Scout Troop to spend the night. Angela (age 11) was taking a beginning sewing class to earn her first badge in Girl Scouts. The troop leader was the mother of the friend spending the night.
During the course of the evening, my daughter's friend, also age 11, make a comment about being "Lucky!" I immediately corrected her and said that because we were Christians we didn't believe in "Luck" we believed in God. The little girl smiled and said that she was also a Christian and she learned in her Sunday School class that LUCKY was an acronym for LIVING UNDER CHRIST'S KINDNESS YES! I immediately apologized for correcting her and thanked her for teaching me something new that day. Sometimes children are the best teachers. May we all be fortunate enough to live L.U.C.K.Y. lives every day!
