Missions Outreach August 30 - September 4, 2026 ~ Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, North America

Tuesday, September 1, a group of volunteers took a one-hour bus ride into the village to build a church and a rehab house; we were the second of 3 groups to help with this project. As you can see in the photos, when we got there, we had much to do.
Basically, my group put up the walls and started with the ceiling. We were only there for three hours and were drenched with sweat. The humidity was something awful, but nobody complained because we knew the importance of the task at hand. Before my group got ready to leave, I reached in my pocket for the Holy Anointing Oil that I had and poured some oil outside of the church and I said a prayer for the people that would be attending. Then I went to the other building which is the rehab center, and I prayed that every life entering these buildings would be touched for the Glory of YESHUA.

Today is Monday, September 7, 2026 Labor Day, and I noticed on my coworkers Facebook page that the two buildings were completed since we left on Friday and church was open yesterday and it looked like it was a full house. My heart is so full. What a blessing it has been! As you can see from the pictures, it is very poor country and very rural. What a blessing to be part of such an important mission.  Steve is very involved with all the mission projects that Funeral Directors Life does. He travels all over the world for these. So, it was such an honor.
