It is written, “So then each one of us will give an account of himself to God.” ~ Romans 14:12, NASB. For many seasons, I have pondered the question, “How does the Holy Spirit define the word account?” There are 86 Scriptural references in the Holy Bible about the word “account” and a lengthy discourse in Romans, chapter 4. I do not consider myself a theologian, just a student of the Written Word of God and like the Apostle Paul, “…do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God.” ~ Act 20:24, NASB. Therefore, I offer the following to you, because I believe that some of you may have asked the same questions.
In the late, dark winter of 1995, I received a phone call from my sister, Susan Kay, letting me know that she had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and was scheduled for surgery. The surgery was April 19, 1995 the same day as the Oklahoma City bombing. Two very long years later, March 31, the Monday morning following Resurrection Sunday 1997, she moved to heaven, with her life here on earth surely unfinished. There is no need to describe the horrifying agony or devastation that cancer brings, as thousands upon the earth have suffered in similar ways. Since that time, Susan’s only son, Christopher graduated from high school a few months later, then off to college. Now, he is joyfully married to Marissa, with a beautiful daughter, Sophie-Kate (2009) and then daughter, Caroline (2011) and son, Oliver (2015).
Within myself, I could not find any resolve or place of peace regarding her life being taken when she was so young and in vibrant health, even younger than my grandfather who died of the complications of cancer at 51. And I wondered, "Did God really need another flutist and pianist?" As I continued to seek the LORD regarding this, my Dad was diagnosed with liver cancer and died two months later, October 4, 2000.
In 2001, I inquired again of the LORD regarding each person’s account in heaven. This is not a question as to whether each person has an account in heaven, as the Scriptures are clear on that point. My question is “How is that account filled?" On the earth, we have bank accounts, that we make deposits into and withdrawals from, this is a simple concept. As to the subject of the wages of sin is death, we know YESHUA paid the debt upon the cross, when He died and rose again. So, the question is not about eternal life, but about each one’s account in heaven. How can one’s account in heaven be filled, if one’s life is taken abruptly? The question is not about the undeniable riches of the endless mercy and grace of God. The question is how to add to the eternal account of one who is in heaven.
On Resurrection Sunday of 2001, I asked the LORD to take all of my earthly works, places of service that were pleasing to HIM, having eternal value, in the states of Montana and Colorado and give them to my sister Susan’s account in heaven. Each year when her birthday passes by and the holidays come and go, because I cannot wrap a gift for her, this is what I give. This last summer, on her birthday, I drove to Montana, and we began the Prophetic Worship Hammer Project for each State in America. The Prophetic Worship Hammer Project is Susan’s Song…the sound of radical freedom, the harmony of pure worship, the melody of sweet love, the rhapsody of gentle healing, the song of divine restoration and the music of eternal life. During the late spring of 2011, once again in the Flathead Valley of Montana, we began the Prophetic Worship Sword of the LORD Project for each State in America. May Susan’s beautiful frequencies and reverberations continue to resonate throughout heaven and earth.
David, the psalmist writes, “You have taken account of my wanderings; Put my tears in Your bottle. Are they not in Your book?” ~ Psalm 56:8, NASB. Daily the LORD gathers my tears as a love offering.
And yes, the works of ministry (service to God) in other States of America and Nations of the World have been dedicated and humbly offered to others who have gone before me, that their accounts in heaven may be filled to overflowing with victorious joy! It is a simple act of intentional purpose with undeniable passion. It is possible that this writing is only a means to process my own grief or possibly to fulfill the need of a middle child to make things more fair or perhaps it has a greater potential eternally...which only time will reveal.
At best it is a reflection of three that I loved moving to heaven Passover (Easter) weekend in different years. My sister Susan Kay (March 31, 1997), my sister-in-law Evelyn (March 29, 2005) and my best friend, Arlene Kay (March 28, 1994). Now I am wondering if there is an annual party in heaven like birthday parties on earth, to celebrate the homecoming of those returning to the eternal kingdom. And I wonder if God planned for Susan, Arlene and Evelyn to celebrate together in heaven.
"And I heard a voice from heaven, saying, "Write, 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on!'" "Yes," says the Spirit, "so that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow with them." ~ Revelation 14:13, NASB
As the season of Thanksgiving surrounds us, may we enter HIS courts with thanksgiving and HIS gates with praise! ~ Psalm 100

2019 Note from Jennifer Joy: It is with a heart overflowing with gratitude that I write, as many of you have given generously of your unconditional love, unmerited grace, true friendship, faithful prayers, emotional encouragement and financial support during the last 24 years of my intentional dedication to serving the LORD GOD. I believe, it is important for you to fully realize and see with greater understanding that your giving was not limited to the call of God upon my life, HIS Glory Reigns Ministries and the advancement of the Kingdom of God on earth and in heaven...but to others who have transitioned to their eternal home sooner than anticipated.
As only The LORD God Almighty could have ordained it, the person, whom I met in June 2008, invited HGRM to Missoula, Montana to release the States of America Worship Hammer and Worship Swords projects has these similarities to my sister Susan who was also born in August, lived in Missoula, Montana, had beautiful blonde hair, blue eyes, petite frame, athletic in discipline (hiking, running), played the flute and piano, was a passionate mom and most of all loved YESHUA.
