Journal of Joy ~ New England States, USA ~ October 16-29, 2002
Beginning and Advanced Prophetic Glory Ring Workshops
August 10, 2001, Jim Goll, of Ministry to the Nations, in Nashville, Tennessee said, “The LORD has given you an authority over the New England States and England…you need to go there!”
We have prayed for the doors to open to the New England States since then.
A couple of days before taking to the skies again, I was privileged as a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to dedicate two beautiful little girls to the Lord, the closest to my heart was beautiful Sarah Joy, my two-month old granddaughter and precious Faith Joy, the infant daughter of a close friend. Being ordained earlier this year has opened new doors in ministry including performing wedding ceremonies and baby dedications.
10.16.2002, Wednesday ~ In the morning, after checking the suitcases, I was the selectee for a detailed check of my person, by PDX security. Of course, this is purely random, yet leaves one feeling violated, devalued and humiliated. There must be a better way to insure safe airports.
Signs along the way:C19, 812, 6E, Harvest road.
There is nothing quite like an early morning flight. The aircraft was filled with sun gazers as we were mesmerized by the breathtaking beauty of the sun rising in the eastern sky. The flight required a change of planes in Michigan. There was a “nor’easter” storm on the coast of Maine the afternoon I flew into Connecticut. The final 45 minutes of the flight were very bumpy. It helps to view these rare opportunities as a free roller coaster ride and continue laughing. Although, the people sitting next to me with white knuckles did not fully appreciate my unfounded joy! Rachel met me at the airport then we hurried along to the cell group meeting at their pastor’s home. It was good to see a few familiar faces, in addition to meeting some new ones.
I sensed the angelic realm hovering around me throughout the day and was grateful for their calming presence.
10.17.2002, Thursday ~ We spent the day shopping for the Workshop, unpacking, and settling in. Sometimes the Holy Spirit sends small warnings to give me clarity over the resistance in the spiritual realm opposing the Kingdom of ADONAI, on the earth. Today, HE sent three warnings, so I was on high alert and very grateful for HIS preparation and revelation. One of the unexpected changes was that transportation promised was rescinded, which meant that I would need to rent a vehicle tomorrow morning to complete my FATHER's assignments.
As we were out and about, there were three magnificent breakthroughs in the clouds. At first it was a narrow stream of golden light, then it widened with many more illuminated golden ribbons of light and finally like an explosion of light overflowing from heaven.
In the evening, as I was perusing a coffee-table book titled, America. The page opened to photographs of the Hartford Connecticut Capitol building where holiday lights in the building’s windows created the word “JOY.” The word “JOY” also reflected from the building into the Connecticut River. The photos were at least 10 years old, as the book was published in 1993. This was my first time to see an advance prophetic photographic word indicating where the LORD planned to take me. During the summer of 2001, I anointed the Connecticut River and the Connecticut State Capitol with Holy Anointing Oil. It was like Jeremiah 29:11 came to pass.
“For I know the plans that I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.”
The evening closed with a deep and meaningful time in Holy Communion and prayer.
10.18.2002, Friday ~ We went to pick up my rental car so I could drive to Eliot, Maine, as plans unexpectedly changed. As I did not come prepared financially for the expenses of a rental vehicle for a week, I found myself walking in a different level of faith.
Signs along the way: 17008, 658, BNK 317.
The New England route took me through Springfield, Massachusetts, where the Holy Spirit asked me to pause, pray and pour Holy Anointing Oil! My first home was in Springfield, Oregon, more than 50 years ago; therefore, I prayed the fullness of the LORD’s Commanded Blessing over America from Springfield, Oregon to Springfield, Massachusetts. May HIS Glory Come!
The New Hampshire Coastline is extravagantly beautiful and filled with Cape Cod cottages, summer homes, narrow winding roads, brilliant blue skies, fair winds and the rocky Atlantic Ocean shoreline. The New Hampshire State Park was the place that I stopped, prayed, declared Scripture and poured Holy Anointing Oil into the land.
Then I crossed over the Piscataqua River meaning, Three Rivers in the Abenaki Native American language. As this is before GPS systems were available to the public, the lodging host met me at York, Maine’s visitor center so I could follow him to their home in the hills. Upon arrival, I was quite certain that I would have never found their residence by myself because it is out in the woods…somewhere…in a very beautiful, quiet New England setting.
It is my second time in ministry to meet someone whose grandchildren Elijah and Sarah call her Nonnie. Even though they did not know me or anything about our ministry, Gail and Bob generously offered their large New England home as the location for the final Beginning Prophetic Glory Ring Workshop this year. It has been an amazing journey requiring more faith, tenacity, endurance and strength from Jesus Christ than imagined.
They say the LORD held the peak of the New England fall colors for me to see, as it arrived two weeks late. It is true, it is too beautiful to put into words and photographs do not do it any justice at all. The colors are like brightly flashing neon signs in the shapes of leaves and the artistically blended shades of persimmon, tangerine, grape, apple, lemon, mango, kiwi and lime. Each time the sun’s rays touched the leaves it was as though the leaves had been turned on, similar to a light bulb. The Psalmist writes, “HE made the moon for the seasons; The sun knows the place of its setting” (Psalm 104:19).
10.19.2002, Saturday ~ Today held the Eliot, Maine, Beginning Prophetic Glory Ring Workshop, which contained a number of challenges, including a lack of respect for the host’s home, the schedule and the time designated for worship. Five individuals were in attendance; two from Maine, three from Connecticut and all were new to worshiping with worship instruments. It was this experience that motivated our ministry to completely discontinue facilitating Workshops in personal homes. We have learned that a public setting is better suited and equipped for our ministry purposes.
May 2000 ~ For the State of Maine ~ HIS Maine Deliverance! ~ Given to: Beverly Crisman, Kennebunk, Maine, USA – June 2000. Scriptures: Psalm 107; Mark 4, 5. Handmade by Betty Leach and Jennifer Lynn Easton Joy
10.20.2002, Sunday ~ I attended Bethel Assembly of God in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, with Bob and Gail my gracious Maine hosts. I tasted my first maple-flavored turkey stuffing at a local favorite restaurant during a typical Sunday meal out following the service. Gail then gave me a tour of the Nubble Light House and the little Maine coastline town of Ogunquit, where we went window-shopping. In the evening, we went to Berwich Full Gospel Church, where I was asked to pray for Timothy, a young man leaving for the USAF. Because my dad served in WWII, I consider it an honor to pray for any military person.
After the service, I met Norm and Paulina. He asked me about the ministry and what I was doing in the New England States, so I shared about the Workshops and that we were planning to pray over the New England capitols and cities in the next week. Then he asked me if I had ever been to Connecticut. I told him yes, just last summer in July 2001, we prayed over several places in Connecticut: Hartford, the Connecticut River, the Farmington River, Windsor and Windsor Locks. He said that explains why all 10 students in the youth group at Windsor Locks Assembly of God unexpectedly decided to go into ministry in August 2001, within 30 days of our prayers being released in the area. It was unprecedented. They felt God must have sent someone to the area for there to be such a change in the Spiritual atmosphere. Their son is the pastor at the Windsor Locks Assembly of God church.
As an international intercessor, I find it rare to personally witness the fruit of my prayers in this manner. Therefore, this testimony was an extreme blessing to me and strongly encouraged me to continue in ministry across the land as the LORD GOD directs. To be faithful in praying as HE directs trusting HIM to bring forth HIS purposes and will according to HIS Glory! Every intercessor in America participates in filling the prayer bowls of the saints in heaven, moving the heart of God (Revelation 5:8, 8:3-4). We must keep praying!
10.21.2002, Monday ~ We journeyed north to Augusta, Maine, stopping by the Eagle’s Nest at Gooch’s Beach, Colony Beach and then on to Ogunquit. The LORD generously provided, one of HGRM ministry intercessors to be my armor bearer, chauffeur and tour guide for the next few days I was in New England. It is a rich gift to have a native of the land serving in this capacity.
We stopped in Portland, Maine, for lunch at DiMillio’s, where three large glass doors automatically opened for us. I thought, “Oh, the LORD is going before us and opening doors!” It was an obvious parable and true as when we traveled to Augusta, Concord and Montpelier and the doors of heaven were opened by intercessor’s faithful prayers. The days were easy and filled with complete joy and delight!
At Augusta, the Capital of Maine, Bev and I anointed the eight pillars inside the capitol building and the light posts along the driveway and the liberty bell in the side yard. We also toured, prayed over and poured Holy Anointing Oil at St. Anne’s Church and President Bush’s house in Kennebunkport.
10.22.2002, Tuesday ~ Traveling with Bev was one of my most pleasurable ministry prayer journeys. She was very sensitive to the Holy Spirit and heard clearly from the LORD. Recently, she was blessed with a new white Cadillac, and I happily thanked God, for the comfort of leather seats during the 12-hour prayer journeys. As I daily overcome the chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, chronic pain and connective tissue damage from the car wrecks a few years ago, the simple gift of a leather seat is something I gratefully appreciate. We spent the day traveling through New Hampshire and Vermont pouring out Holy Anointing Oil and praying as the Holy Spirit directed. Our first stop was the Supreme Court of New Hampshire on Noble Drive, then on to the capital of New Hampshire, Concord. We anointed the massive marble center pillar with the statue of Daniel Webster, in addition to Eagle Square, the Eagle Hotel and the 10 pillars inside the Capitol building. A quote of Daniel Webster: “I was born an American; I will live as an American; I shall die an American.” And I thought to myself, “I am a born-again Christian. I will live as a born-again Christian and I shall die as a born-again Christian.”
When we arrived in Concord, we saw a large gathering outside the Capitol building. A couple came up to us asking us what the “riot” was about. So, Bev in her amicable way asked someone standing nearby. We learned that it was a group of middle-school students proclaiming drug-free zones in their school! They called it the Red-Letter Day! Glory to God!
The person that Bev asked about the riot turned out to be Melinda, who knows Christie and Katherine Leary of Latter Rain Ministries in Vermont; they are the recipients of the Vermont Glory Ring. Melinda also knew Kathy Edwards of Massachusetts, the recipient of the Massachusetts Glory Ring, whose sister attended the Workshops in Eureka, California. This was an exclusive divine appointment ordered by the Most High God, as Melinda had brought her middle school daughters to the capitol building for the drug free zone proclamation!
The timing of the LORD is sometimes overwhelming. Had we arrived 3 minutes earlier or later the divine connection would have never occurred. Sometimes those traveling with me become a bit frustrated when I say, “We have to go - NOW!” Yet, I have learned that God always has a plan that HE is orchestrating. A prayer journey is always about HIS time, purposes, plans, and desires for HIS glory!
We then arrived at the capital of Vermont, Montpelier, at 12:33 PM. The Capitol buildings in the New England States are extremely beautiful, elaborate structures. Outside of the Vermont Capitol, we anointed the two pillars with lamps and then casually toured inside. We enjoyed a traditional New England lunch at a local restaurant located around the corner the street from the Capitol building…apple pancakes with Cabot cheddar cheese and Red Rose tea. Later in the evening, we learned that Christie and Katherine were at the Capitol two days earlier praying with the Vermont Glory Ring. We easily understood why our day was blessed with the favor and grace of the LORD! God is faithful!
September 2002 ~ For the State of Vermont ~ IN HIS SALVATION AND VICTORY!Given to: Christie and Katherine Leary, Bennington, VT, USA. Scriptures: 2 Chronicles 20; Psalms 90, 92; Isaiah 11, 12. Handmade by Betty Leach and Jennifer Lynn Easton Joy
Signs along the way: 1133, 1233, 133, Liberty, 45, 50, 55, 8, 67772, Bridges 12 and 17, Blue Star Memorial Hwy, Easton Coach.
10.23.2002, Wednesday ~ I was surprised when I awakened to a white blanket of very beautiful early fall snow! And I recalled being in La Grande, Oregon earlier this year on June 8, when we experienced a very late snow! This morning we joined the local Aglow prayer meeting at Mt. Zion Pentecostal Church, in Wells, Maine. This church is the highest point of Wells, which was a perfect place to pray, proclaim, decree and declare the Word of the LORD! Glory! Glory! Following our season of prayer, we gathered at a local diner and enjoyed table fellowship before my departure.
On the road again…as I had received a prophetic word a few years back about a blue Crown Victoria and there was one in front of me with a government license plate, so I followed it to Springfield, Massachusetts and anointed the Public School Administrative Building and other government buildings downtown, praying as I went. The angels graciously and safely escorted me to Windsor, Connecticut.
10.24.2002, Thursday ~ In the morning we departed at 8:19 AM. Originally, I was going to make the journey alone, yet when others asked to come along, I thought it would be fine for them to join me. It did not occur to me at the time to inquire of the LORD regarding this, and I quickly remembered that not all Christians are destined to be radical intercessors. Therefore, my journey was intentionally focused on prayer, while theirs was more about the social aspect of shopping and sight-seeing. The two perspectives did not mix well. By the end of the day, I repeated a very painful lesson and I am certain, I will not make this mistake again. No matter what, in all things, inquire of the LORD! It is always more important to walk in obedience to the LORD than to acquiesce to the desires of others.
It was a little more than a three-hour drive from Windsor, Connecticut, to Boston, Massachusetts. We parked near the Capitol building after crossing over the Charles River. This Capitol building was by far, the most magnificent that my eyes have ever seen. The architectural design was extravagant. The statue of President John F. Kennedy brought me to tears, I was 12 years-old when he was assassinated; a day I shall always remember - sitting in Mrs. Bradshaw’s math class. His famous words etched across my heart, “…Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.” Upon departure, I anointed the rod-iron gates with Holy Anointing Oil.
Then onward to the city of Plymouth Rock, Massachusetts, which was an extraordinary historic place with an authentic Mayflower II replica in the bay and Plymouth Rock. The Scripture from Psalm 33:12,“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom HE has chosen for HIS own inheritance!” was decreed and declared over the USA.
As the day was very full to overflowing, we moved forward towards Providence, the capital of Rhode Island, where and I anointed the two lamp stands inside the Capitol building. We arrived in Rhode Island at 3:03 PM and left at 3:55 PM. It is a city I would very much like to visit again. We then returned to Connecticut, stopping for dinner at Ledyard on the Pequot Native American tribe reservation.
The resistance was unprecedented this day, yet I am determined to accomplish the mission of the LORD! It was like running the final mile of a marathon, I am exhausted, but I can see the finish line. We arrived in Windsor, Connecticut at 7:07 p.m. and I pray the LORD’s desires, plans, purpose and hopes were accomplished and am trusting in the fullness of HIS mercy and grace. Physically, I collapsed until the next morning. The truth is that God is on the throne and HE is having HIS way on earth!
In the last week, I had poured Holy Anointing Oil at Concord, New Hampshire; Providence, Rhode Island; Montpelier, Vermont; Augusta, Maine; Boston, Massachusetts; the New Hampshire coastline; Maine coastline; Nubble Light House; Berwich, Maine; Plymouth Rock, Massachusetts; and Ledyard, Connecticut! For my FATHER’s Eternal Glory!
10.25.2002, Friday ~ We returned the rental car in the morning and then in the afternoon, I took a long walk through Washington Park. The prearranged location for the Workshop was cancelled; therefore, Rachel spent the afternoon securing another one. In the early evening, we set up for the Advanced Prophetic Glory Ring Workshop in the basement of the Evangelical church where we met in July 2001, for the Beginning Prophetic Glory Ring Workshop.
In the cool of the evening, we went to the Blue Moon Café in Springfield, Massachusetts and listened to live music for a while. The young, talented musicians played soft blue grass. It was a peaceful interlude in the stormy week.
10.26.2002, Saturday ~ The final Advanced Prophetic Glory Ring Workshop for the four-corner, border-states was held this day. Gratefully, two individuals brought Glory Ring supplies to share or many would not have been able to finish their worship instruments. I made a Glory Ring for Rachel as the example during the teaching time, and then assisted eight others in the completion of their worship instruments. At this time in ministry, we did require Workshop registration, therefore, it was challenging to prepare. Perhaps the greatest challenge was that many in attendance were developmentally delayed and required hands-on help to complete their worship instrument. The confrontation in the spiritual realm was unprecedented, and I was not prepared for the resistance. In times like these, all that I have is the grace and mercy of God.
Time change occurred today! God’s timing and HIS faithfulness continue to astound me. In the evening, Steve and Rachel treated me to the King’s Buffet to celebrate the completion of the 2002 Challenge! My heart is positioned to please my King Jesus, regardless of the weakness of my physical body.
10.27.2002, Sunday ~ We attended morning service at the Greater Hartford Vineyard in Windsor, Connecticut, where Steve is part of the worship team and Rachel leads the dance team. As usual God had HIS divine appointments set up. HE is like that! Yes HE is!
10.28.2002, Monday ~ Noreen met me this morning and we went to a friend’s house to pray, then over to Bonita’s for lunch and a delightful afternoon of sharing. Before returning to Steve and Rachel’s for a late dessert, we spent time praying at Noreen’s home. We prayed for her teenage son and that the LORD would bring her a faithful, holy spirit-filled husband. The LORD’s tangible presence and power deeply blessed us.
10.29.2002, Tuesday ~ Safe journey home. Only for HIS Glory!
Signs along the way: 733, 317 033, 1177, 10F, B20, Harvest Road (2x).
As always, I remain indebted to the MOST HIGH GOD who lovingly sustains me, for HIS faithful intercessors who are the wind beneath my wings, and for those who have joined me along the way.
For the Eternal Glory of God!
As you are blessed by HGRM, we appreciate financial support to continue our mission and vision. Trusting the LORD to recompense and multiply your generous gift.
