Anointing Oil Testimonial ~ The Ohio and Susquehanna Rivers, USA ~ 2024

Here’s photos of the two rivers that were anointed and prayed over.  The first photo is the Susquehanna River at sunset, the time we prayed for all the areas that the river touches. The Susquehanna flows through New York, Pennsylvania, specifically Harrisburg, the capital of Pennsylvania, then Maryland and empties into the Chesapeake Bay.  The nickname of the Susquehanna is “River Hawks.” The Susquehanna is one of the oldest rivers in the world known to science.

The second photo with the bridges is the Ohio River, and it begins with the confluence of the Allegheny and Monongahela rivers in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and ends 981 miles later where it empties into the Mississippi River at Cairo, Illinois. The Ohio flows through the States of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Illinois.  The Ohio River is the 2nd largest river in the United States of America.  

There are two bridges here.  The suspension bridge, in the foreground of the photo, is the first bridge to be built over the Ohio in 1849, and after a tornado destroyed it the bridge was rebuilt and opened to traffic on January, 1867. Presently, due to bridge repair work, the bridge is closed to motor vehicles, but one can still walk over it. 

The bridge in the background is the Fort Henry Bridge. Its history includes the saving of "Fort Henry" during the Revolutionary War, by Betty Zane, frontier heroine in 1782.  Zane Grey wrote the historical fiction, “Betty Zane,” surrounding this battle. 

Later, the capture of "Fort Henry" was the first significant Union victory in the American Civil War.  
So these are some interesting facts regarding where the “holy anointing oils" were poured and prayers said.

In Carlisle, Pennsylvania we went to the Susquehanna River right next to Harrisburg, the capital of Pennsylvania. This was where I felt prompted of the Lord to pour the holy anointing oil, “The Third Watch,” into the river, and we prayed together. 

My friend, Kathy, and I prayed over the Ohio River in Wheeling and the surrounding areas as I poured the holy anointing oil, “The Second Watch,” into the river.  Much thanks again for the prayers!
