The Flathead Native American Prayer Journey ~ Montana, USA
August 9, 2002, Friday ~ The host of the Pablo, Montana Workshop provided transportation from the Missoula. Montana airport to Ronan where she resided on the Flathead Native American Reservation. It was a warm 77 degrees in Missoula when I arrived following a very beautiful flight over the luscious green forests and majestic mountains of the Northwest. In the evening, we drove through Arlee, Pablo and Charlo, Montana and prayed over the area. Charlo is a city named after Chief Charlo, located along Hwy 212, the home of the Vikings. Signs along the way: Pistol Road, Saddle Mountain Road, 45
August 10, 2002, Saturday ~ As the plans for the Beginning Prophetic Glory Ring Workshop did not come to fruition, Joy Claar and I opted to spend the day praying over the territory. We began on Hwy 93 heading north to Poulson. Our signature Scripture for the day was,
“For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God!”(Deuteronomy 4:24).
We poured “The Fragrance of HIS Aroma!” Holy Anointing Oil! and prayed over the following specific places: Boettcher Park-Flathead Lake, Ninepipes Reservoir, Ninepipes Restaurant/Museum, Kicking Horse Reservoir, The People’s Center, Poulson Lake County Courthouse, Poulson High School, Cherry Valley Elementary School, Linderman Elementary School, Two Eagle River School, Boys and Girls Club on the Flathead Reservation, Kicking Horse Job Corp, Charlo Grain and Water Station, Charlo School-Home of the Vikings and St. Ignatius Mission.
Signs along the way:Deer, 45 (5x), 11, Eagles Nest, 50, 55 (2x), Two Eagle River School, Eagle Nest, The Sign of the Times, Twin Creek, Glory Road, 58, God’s Country, Jesus Loves YOU!
August 11, 2002, Sunday ~ We left early in the morning to pray over Arlee schools and the Saint Ignatius Mission before arriving in Missoula to worship at the Clark Fork City Church with friends from the Missoula and Lolo area.
Signs along the way: Blue Heron, 45 (2x) 15 (2x), Sabbath Rest Change, Legacy, The Mission Valley, The Jocko Valley, The Missoula Valley, Missoula County, Crossroads, Missoula ~The Garden City, Orange Street.
At the Saint Ignatius Mission, we saw a very large white banner with a cross and the word “JUBILEE” on the door as we entered. As we crossed the threshold, directly in front of us on the wall, in the foyer a poster read: “A YEAR OF GRACE 2002!” in addition to a story of Elijah. Only God!
Following the worship gathering, we joined together for table fellowship, and then went to pray for a family of five that was involved in a car wreck, two weeks earlier. The LORD’s divine protection of this family is an amazing miracle.
One of our ministry intercessors provided transportation to the airport for an easy return flight to Portland, Oregon. The Holy Spirit quickened this familiar Psalm to my mind as the airplane ascended into the heavens:
“O LORD, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar. You scrutinize my path and my lying down and are intimately acquainted with all my ways. Even before there is a word on my tongue, behold, O LORD, You know it all. You have enclosed me behind and before me and laid Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is too high, I cannot attain to it”(Psalm 139:1-6).
Trusting the LORD GOD to bless HIS faithful prayer warriors and givers.
