Beginning Prophetic Worship Glory Ring Workshop ~ Northern California, USA
March 1, 2002,Friday ~ The person taking me to the airport chose a new route, so I pondered the Holy Spirit’s message of a new route, new journey, and new season. The morning weather report was a beautiful sunny 50 degrees in Portland, Oregon, USA. The number 50 is symbolic of a Jubilee year. Therefore, I prayed that this ministry outreach to Eureka would be a time of ABBA ADONAI's Jubilee for all who gathered.
“You shall thus consecrate the 50th year and proclaim a release through the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you, and each of you shall return to his own property, and each of you shall return to his family” (Leviticus 25:10).
We departed through gate A-5 and flew towards the Oregon coast cruising at about 18,000 feet heading south to Eureka along the spectacular, very blue Pacific Ocean coastline. We thoroughly enjoyed an extravagantly beautiful, easy, smooth flight. Artistically inscribed on the front of the plane were the words, “A Beautiful City, Kelowna 359.” This triggered a cherished memory, as I was in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada for the first time this last June 2001, at a life-changing conference… I sensed the Holy Spirit speaking to me that the trip to Eureka was going to be similar to the Kelowna experience with HIM…life changing!
Arriving safely in Eureka, I met Andrea for the first time as she graciously loaded the luggage into their Sports Utility Vehicle. It is my first time in Eureka for a ministry outreach and my spirit is resonating with the fire of God! Our first stop was at Adele’s, a local eatery known for its hot-pink sugar! Each table was adorned with a container of hot-pink sugar. It was beautiful, fun and in the language of colors the message was clear: The Holy Spirit was bringing a sweet, passionate, healing time to Eureka. Following a delightful lunch and a brief time to get acquainted, we drove to the church to drop off the Workshop supplies and meet the pastor of the First Baptist Church of Eureka, Cassie Wyland. This was a completely delightful surprise, God sent me to a church with a female pastor! It was truly HIS plan and a genuine God “send.”
Andrea graciously drove me to her mother’s home in Eureka to meet her family. My breath left me when I walked in and seated on the couch was her precious great-grandmother and grandmother playing the Scrabble Crossword game with their grandchildren. It was like walking back in time 20 years. Andrea introduced her grandmother, Nonnie, and mother, Audrey. My grandmother, who died in 1988, was known as Nonnie, and only God knows the number of hours she spent playing Scrabble with our family. Then I met Andrea’s four beautiful children, all less than eight years of age. Some gifts of the LORD are more tangible than others; this gift left me speechless. Following this sweet interlude of joy, we went on a brief prayer journey.
Andrea drove us to Fresh Water to pour out, “The Aroma of HIS Fragrance!” Holy Anointing Oil! 2002. Standing on the slightly arched wood bridge edged with a hand rail, I poured the Holy Anointing Oil into the Fresh Water stream…pondering about periwinkles. As I had received a prophetic word earlier this year about being a periwinkle, which is defined as a color, a flower and a small snail with a periwinkle colored shell that clings to the rock in the bottom of a fresh water stream. It cannot live unless it is in fresh water, clinging to the rock!
“You are a garden spring, a well of fresh water, and streams flowing from Lebanon” (Song of Songs 4:15).
This simple metaphor of a Christian life is that daily we need the fresh water and word of the Holy Spirit. Simply put, we must cling to The Rock of our Salvation, YESHUA, Our Messiah, (1 Corinthians 10:4) in order to live abundantly! An extravagant prism rainbow formed inside the cool mist hovering above the waters.
The city of Eureka is acknowledged for the six rivers converging in that county including the Trinity, Klamath, and Eel Rivers. The Native American tribe in the area is Wioyt, which means “where the rivers meet.” Audrey accepted the assignment to anoint all six of the rivers as time did not permit me to have this pleasure! Thank You, ABBA ADONAI! The following Prophetic Glory Ring was sent to Pastor Cassie after the Workshop. March 2002 ~ For Northern California ~ Where HIS Rivers Meet in Glory! ~ Given to:Pastor Cassie Wyland, Eureka, California, USA.Scriptures:Psalms 23, 65; Ezekiel 43:2, 47:12; Zechariah 14:8-9; Luke 22:14-20, 24:44-53; Revelation 4, 22. Handmade by Jennifer Lynn Easton Joy Following a lovely candlelight dinner with Andrea’s family and friends, Pastor Cassie, provided transportation to Tom and Aileen’s, Eureka’s best bed and breakfast. Jennifer’s room had been prepared for my visit. I found it rather humorously ironic that I was staying in their daughter’s room who shared my name. Sometimes the LORD gives the simplest messages to confirm HIS pleasure, purpose and plan.
March 2, 2002, Saturday ~ When I awakened in the morning, I noticed an extravagantly beautiful flower garden out the south window. There was not time to visit it this morning, perhaps tomorrow morning would generously give that gift. We departed early to prepare for the all-day Beginning Prophetic Glory Ring Workshop.
Zechariah, Andrea’s 18-month-old, anointed each chair as he was led by the Holy Spirit. Drawn by the presence of the Holy Spirit, I observed as this little one of God fulfilled the Holy Spirit’s request so obediently. He laid his hand on each chair in the first row and then did the same for the second row of chairs. Then he touched the second row once again. It was easy to envision Zechariah shepherding a flock of his own in 20 years or so…his great-grandfather, a pastor for 35 years, blessed him with a very rich heritage. We are truly in a season where it is prudent and wise to contemplate the little ones in God’s Kingdom and carefully observe what GOD is speaking and releasing through them.
Expectations were very high at the Workshop. Each person came with an open heart for more of God and HIS ways. Approximately 20 attended, most danced and made Prophetic Worship Glory Rings. Among the cherished memories, was the privilege of giving prophetic words over Worship Glory Rings in the First Baptist Church’s enclosed garden. The sun was full and warm, the fountain bubbling over with glittering and light from the Holy Anointing Oil, and the fragrant calla lilies bloomed extravagantly. Who but God could plan this extraordinary outpouring of HIS love for HIS daughters?
After the Workshop, Pastor Cassie asked me if would like to go cruisin’ through the city in her sky-blue convertible Volkswagen Beetle Bug. I responded with a resounding, “Absolutely! Yes! Glory!” There is nothing quite like a personal tour of the city by one who has been sent to the city as a pastor of HIS flock. The Carson Mansion, The Jazz Festival, The Pink Lady, Humboldt Bay, and Sequoia Park…all were pure delight! The massive sequoia forest provided an extravagant fragrant canopy and softly filtered the first star light. The last time I rode in a sky-blue Volkswagen Beetle Bug was as a nine-year-old when Pastor Elwing of the First Baptist Church, in Springfield, Oregon, transported me to and from discipleship classes. Cruisin’ Eureka was one of the sweetest experiences in my life.
Following the city tour I had another beautiful candlelight dinner with my ABBA ADONAI's friends in Eureka. Although, we discussed a myriad of topics, the topic surfacing most often was the challenge of being a single divorced woman in ministry. The Holy Spirit confirmed in my spirit very strongly that HE called Cassie to be the pastor of the First Baptist Church in Eureka and HE called me to travel the world teaching others about worshiping in spirit and in truth. Regardless of the condemnation, ridicule, criticism, mockery and rejection of those who perhaps do not understand and some who do understand……HIS call cannot be ignored. ELOHIM is the same. ABBA ADONAI does not change.
March 3, 2002, Sunday ~ Arising early this morning, I had the privilege of walking through the hill top garden filled with white and purple crocus, purple hyacinth, bright yellow daffodils and many other blossoming flowers. The ground was soft and moist from recent rains. Overhead the songbirds created a surround-sound symphony of melodic worship unto the Creator. It was a refreshing, fragrant time of solitude and prayer with my LORD, KING YESHUA.
Sunday morning at the First Baptist Church, I sat with Elijah, Andrea’s oldest son. Only God would generously and affectionately think to send me an Elijah to sit in church with me, since my grandson, Elijah would not be with me this Sunday.
Pastor Cassie preached on the subject of Wabi-Sabi, which is about breaking the religious norms of the day just like YESHUA did in HIS day! As everything the LORD called me to is about breaking religious traditions that are not in agreement with the Word and the Spirit of God, I found the message to be a comforting and confirming word. Following the holy communion service the pianist played one of my dad’s favorite songs, “Trust and Obey.” Truly, sometimes the kindness and tenderness of my FATHER in Heaven just leaves me undone. I am so overwhelmed by HIS goodness and mercy! God sent the fragrance of a pure white rose to minister HIS love in this place.
Following the service, Pastor Cassie asked me to pray over the church. Humbled and honored by the request, I stood with the light reflecting through the stained-glass windows and prayed as the Holy Spirit led. Then I stopped by Pastor Cassie’s office where we stored the Workshop luggage. Upon entering the comfortable space, immediately I noticed standing by the entry way, a life-sized full-suit of silver-colored metallic armor. Cassie spoke rather softly, “Someone said that I was a soldier in the LORD's army and gave it to me as a gift.” It seems that the ELOHIM has brought me a kindred spirit. Only Jesus!
We gathered at Adele’s for the commonly enjoyed after-church lunch. As we left the restaurant, Nonnie hugged me and said, “See you here or see you there ~ indicating heaven” - an expression that my own grandmother said 20 years earlier.
Only three individuals boarded the flight leaving Arcata/Eureka. The pilot announced that once we ascended to cruising altitude we were invited to “dance in the aisles!” Glory to our KING YESHUA! The LORD blessed us with an easy on-time flight into Portland, Oregon.
With a grateful heart for the countless faithful prayers of the HGRM Prayer Shield and the generous givers supporting this ministry outreach.
