Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a tested stone, A costly cornerstonefor the foundation, firmly placed. He who believes in it will not be disturbed" (Isaiah 28:16, NASB).

Jeff York from Beaverton, Oregon, USA gave me two zeolite agates that he found off Hwy 26 near milepost 24, after the ministry time, tonight at Light of Hope in Ridgefield, Washington, USA. This was very significant to me as I am just beginning my 24th year in ministry this week, and each year is certainly a milepost.
When I was a young child, about the age of 5, my grandfather took me rock hounding near Cougar Reservoir outside of Springfield, Oregon before the dam was built in 1963, where I found my first thunder egg. It was a day forever imprinted in my memory. I was very, very excited as I was chosen out of my siblings to be given the joy of a day rock hounding with my grandfather, my Dad's father. This was a once in a lifetime experience. When we arrived at Cougar Reservoir my grandfather explained that the best rock to find was a thunder egg, it was ugly on the outside, but beautiful on the inside. He held up his hands to describe the size and shape. So with my head bent to the ground looking, I took about 4 steps and picked up an ugly round rock and held it up to my grandfather, and asked, "Like this?" He just laughed out loud, and said, "Well look at that!" He was truly delighted over my find. We spent more time looking, but that was my only treasure of the day. As he was an avid rock collector, he cut and polished the thunder egg. When he gave it to me, I gave him back half so we could always remember our day.
Jeff, of course, since we just met, did not know that I love rock hounding, did not know my first significant find was off highway 26, the same highway 26 in Oregon where he found the zeolites. God remembers the significant moments in our lives. Jeff's generosity touched my heart.

I returned to Light of Hope, Ridgefield, Washington, USA to minister and Jeff brought me 70 small and 50 large polished agates for me to use in ministry, along with 2 banded agates. The small agates would be given as a parable to David's five smooth stones when he was victorious over the giant. Jeff did not count the agates before he gave them to me which means that God did. 50 is for Jubilee and 70 is for ten-fold completed work. May God complete HIS work in us. May the joys of Jubilee be ever present.
Jeff is the only person who has given me agates (polished rocks) during my 24 years in ministry. A truly unique encouraging gift from my ABBA ADONAI through Jeff's generous hands.
He took his stick in his hand and chose for himself five smooth stones from the brook, and put them in the shepherd’s bag which he had, even in his pouch, and his sling was in his hand... (1 Samuel 17:40, NASB).
