“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is narrow and the way is constricted that leads to life, and there are few who find it." ~ Matthew 7:13-14, NASB
April 7, 2021 ~ Wednesday Morning The Holy Spirit spoke, "Clear the Gate!"
The only Scripture with the two words "clear and gate" that surfaced during a BLB search is among my most favorite scriptures:
And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the gates was a single pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass (as clear as transparent glass). I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb. The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it. In the daytime (for there will be no night there) its gates will never be closed; and they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it; and nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life (Revelation 21:21-27, NASB).
Immediately I noticed that HE did not say build, clean, open, shut, repair, paint, lock or a host of additional verbs that might possibly be applied to a single gate. It was one word: CLEAR the Gate. This may not be the gate one is expecting or has experienced previously.
The following might shed some light on how to clear the gate. In a slalom ski race the two sticks/poles that the skier must ski between are called gates. When you clear a gate, then it means you have passed through safely and clearly. Colored poles indicate which side of the gate to go through. Slalom racing may include kayaking, vehicles, rollerblading, water skiing and more. These sports enthusiasts require extreme flexibility, strength, agility, focus and most of all courage. The word slalom means: movement over a zigzag route 1: skiing in a zigzag or wavy course between upright obstacles (such as flags) 2: a timed race (as on skis or in an automobile or kayak) over a winding or zigzag course past a series of flags or markers broadly: movement over a zigzag route.
The joy of any prophetic revelation is the spiritual parable application. Gratefully, I was being informed in advance that the LORD was bringing me to and through a new gate with potentially hazardous terrain, high speed travel, unfamiliar territory, relentless zig-zagging among fierce competition requiring flexibility, strength, agility, focus, and most of all courage in the spiritual realm. This information is a genuine gift providing an opportunity for preparation and prayer as this will not be like unlatching the familiar knee-high white picket gate that opens into the backyard rose garden...a gate that any child could easily open. This is a new gate and the Holy Spirit's words "Clear the Gate!" provided the clues to research for greater understanding, revelation and preparation. The kindness of ABBA ADONAI never ceases to amaze me. Glory to YESHUA!

Learning moment: Over 20 years ago through a very painful experience, I learned that a spider may drop a numbing fluid which you cannot see or feel onto your skin, then bite you, leaving a large red welt the size of a quarter on your face lasting for two months, even though the spider is smaller than the size of a dime. The only way to discern the spider is spiritually because you cannot see it or feel it or even smell it as it intentionally hides in shadows. A great lesson in spiritual warfare. We are in a season of Bites and gates.
There are over 200 scriptures about gates...quite a large platter full for those ravenous for the truth. It is wisdom to remember some gates are more flexible and forgiving than others. And some gates should be avoided at all costs.
“You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates." ~ Deuteronomy 6:9, NASB
