Beginning Prophetic Worship Glory Ring Workshop and Prayer Journey ~ Kentucky, USA
September 16, 2009, Thursday ~ Dena picked me up in Lebanon, Tennessee and we traveled the familiar path to Bowling Green, Kentucky where the LORD opened a door for ministered in July. The day was invested in a Holy Spirit led prayer journey as we stopped at various places to pray, pour out Holy Anointing Oil, speak blessing, proclaim destiny and intentionally bring the Light of YESHUA, Our Messiah to every place we traveled. We entered the East gate from Scottsville, Kentucky on Scottsville Road then we turned north toward the Barren River and Western Kentucky University. We visited a prayer labyrinth before reaching Western Kentucky University at Christ Episcopal Church.
At Western Kentucky University, we went to the highest part of campus to overlook city near Cherry Hall. Western's logo is the Hilltoppers because the campus is located on the top a hill. The Holy Spirit then directed our journey to the Western gate of the city via Morgantown Road and prayed atop Briggs Hill. Next, we drove to Southern gate, which is the Rockfield community. YESHUA is the Rock and completed the full circle by driving back to the Eastern gate at Scottsville Road where my hotel was located. It is such a complete and total joy to minister to the LORD in this way.
This was my first time to participate in a prayer walk using a Prayer Labyrinth which is an ancient form of taking a Prayer Journey. Historically, when the Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed in the first century, seven prayer labyrinths were designed and developed to give people coming to the places of community prayer and fellowship the opportunity to walk while they prayed. It is simply a place of designated intentional prayer focus.
September 17, 2009, Friday ~ Dena and I left Bowling Green in the late morning after meeting with Sami for a sweet time of prayer and fellowship. The Holy Spirit is the one who designs and destines our relationships on the earth. I pray we will always see them as the rare and precious gifts they are because of HIS overt love. We stopped and prayed in Russellville and then a little further down the road in a Mennonite Community. At another stop during the journey, the LORD demonstrated loudly and clearly that “It is Time for Kentucky!” For those of you living in the south the picture of tobacco drying in a barn in commonplace, to those of us from the Pacific Northwest, it is an amazingly new experience.
The welcome to Eddyville was graciously warm and we spent the afternoon setting up for the Experiential Communion Service and for the Beginning Prophetic Worship Glory Ring Workshop to be held the next day. Servants of God went before us as the tables were set up for all aspects of the Workshop which lightened our task oriented time table considerably. The theme for the Experiential Communion Evening Service was the message of the Gospel of John 4. The table was set with pottery pieces and other adornments to enhance and reiterate the message of the eternal life-giving living water of YESHUA, Our Messiah.
As one who purposes to take daily personal communion, the joy of sharing communion with others in the body of Christ remains an eternally rare and priceless gift. Sometime ago someone sent to HGRM a CD of Communion Worship Music from HillSong to use during Communion Services when live worship is not available or the location of the Communion Service does not allow for live worship. It was a bit of confirmation to find the identical CD at the Assembly of God sound booth. The CD provides a wide berth in the range of Communion Songs including hymns, praise songs and worship songs familiar to the people of God from every generation.
In this particular worship service the Holy Spirit went before us and provided double linen napkins, so each were given the gift of a divine double portion exchange. The kindness of GOD always overwhelms…HE loves HIS people so much!
September 19, 2009, Saturday ~ We gathered early and each came prepared to receive from the Holy Spirit the gifts and HIS presence of the day. The room was adorned in Princess Theme including the gift of a “Princess Tiara” provided for each one. This brought much delight and laughter…sometimes we just need to take a moment and remember that we are princes and princesses in the Kingdom of GOD.
The Holy Spirit spoke again, now a double portion: “It is Time for Kentucky!” Corporately we received and embraced the redemption, priesthood, harvest anointing and glory outpouring for the State of Kentucky for the eternal glory of GOD!
A catered lunch was provided by the church which was a generous, fulfilling gift to all.
Some of the ones attending this Workshop had also attended the Bowling Green, Kentucky workshop in July, two months earlier. Each Workshop is different as the atmosphere changes according to the location and as those in attendance each bring a different facet of YESHUA’s Light. Many find the second or third Workshop to be a similar functional experience in terms of activity yet a very different spiritual and emotional experience because they have changed, they have been transformed by YESHUA since the previous gathering. As you will notice in the photos, one brought a hammer to adorn during the workshop instead of making a Prophetic Worship Glory Ring. Once a person has attended a Beginning Prophetic Glory Ring Workshop we encourage them to attend again and again and again as the registration fee is only a one time event. They may make another Prophetic Worship Glory Ring or choose to work on a worship instrument of their choice: drum, hammer, sword, fan, flag, ...
The LORD closed the day with an extravagant sunset and lovely time of table fellowship at a local rather well-known-in-Kentucky establishment called Patti’s…which was certainly worth the visit. On the return trip to the hotel, Dena and I stopped by Barkley Dam a strategic place to pray and pour out Holy Anointing Oil.
September 20, 2009, Sunday ~ Following the morning Church service, Charity graciously drove me to Lebanon, Tennessee where I stayed and prepared for the flight home.
September 21, 2009, Monday ~ Administrative computer tasks filled most of my day before the flight home late Monday afternoon. After Barbara dropped me off at the Nashville airport, the flight home included the most challenging of all possible facets of flying causing me to arrive two hours late in Portland…sometimes that is just the way it is when one chooses to fly. In all things give thanks and in all things trust GOD with the eternal outcome!
As always, I am indebted to the faithful givers and H.G.R.M. Intercessor's Prayer Shield who make these outreaches possible for the eternal Glory of God! Many of the miracles we witness remain private and cherished by those receiving an outpouring of YESHUA, our MESSIAH’s deep inner healing, tender kindness, unconditional love, perfect grace, benevolent mercy, sweet mercy and reflective revelation. We are highly honored HE includes us in the advancement of HIS Kingdom on earth.
