My Port of Call

On my 50th birthday ~ When I arrived home this message was on the voice mail.
 
Stay focused. Stand firm. The LORD sent you to Portland, Oregon. Press Forward. Press the Sword Forward. The LORD has positioned you as HIS center point.
 
Upon hearing it, I fell upon my face before the LORD and wept. There are moments in our lives when a word of encouragement is the most precious gift as our tested faith is being rebuilt. Beverly did not know it was my birthday. She did not know that my position was center point when I played college basketball (Pacific University) years ago, nor did she even know that I currently lived in Gresham, Oregon, a Portland suburb where I lived from 2000-2007 completing an intercessory assignment of the LORD.
