July 12, 2014, Saturday – Today is the Celebration of Life for a dear friend and faithful H.G.R.M. Intercessor, Sue Blaco in Salem, Oregon. Yet, I previously made a commitment to minister in Milwaukie, Oregon so the morning was spent preparing and loading over one-hundred Sacred Worship Instruments in the 2008 Pathfinder as I headed towards Milwaukie, Oregon. It is one of the many times in ministry I truly wished I could be two places at one time. Even so, I know that Sue is celebrating life with her Messiah King in heaven and that I need to walk in obedience to my FATHER GOD and keep HIS ministry commitment in Milwaukie. As I have been gainfully employed full-time for 15 years of the last 18 years in full-time ministry, I am completely aware of time constraints and human limitations, especially my own.
The person offering to provide accommodations for the weekend, called late last evening to close the door. It was another fit of jealousy which I have seen so often in ministry, yet each time I find myself surprised when someone I considered a trusted friend betrays me. Without any options, I then called Pastor Vishaal and left a voice mail message to let him know that I needed a place to stay. Gratefully, he called this morning about 11 AM offering me the guest room in their home.
I arrived in Milwaukie in the early evening, truly exhausted from a week of work, the grief of Sue’s death, and more. However, Pastor Vishaal had taken his wife Annie to the Emergency Room and Sean was caring for their two young children when I arrived. Therefore, I immediately went into Grandma Joy mode and helped the boys prepare for bed, read them a story, and listened to their prayers. Elijah is four, Isaiah is two…the LORD has given them two Champions of HIS Kingdom. After the boys were asleep, I helped in the kitchen as the departure to the hospital was obviously unexpected. Sometimes ministry it is just about being willing to step in and help with the simple things.
Their beautiful, spacious, luxurious home is divinely situated along the Clackamas River providing panoramic views, solitude, beauty and peace. Clearly an abundant provision of the Most High God!
Pastor Vishaal and Annie arrived after 10:00 PM, all was well. Praise God! I was shown to the guest room on the second floor. Taking the stairs, one step at a time as my feet are still recovering from foot surgeries to repair birth defects, and healing has taken much longer than I could have ever imagined. Rarely has a bed in an air-conditioned room looked so inviting. As Central Oregon is hot and smoky from all the forest fires…the clear cool air is an extreme gift from the LORD! It is of the LORD for me to be here in this place, in this season, for HIS purposes to be accomplished.
July 13, 2014, Sunday ~ Early Sunday Morning, I left the beauty of the river to arrive at The LORD’s Harvest International Church by 8:30 AM to set up. After unloading the car, Jeremiah, a strong teenager, willing to help arrived around 9:00 AM to help which was great because I could not lift the tables. The others that committed to be there to help set up, arrived quite late…long after the service began. Pastor Vishaal set up the new “over the ear” microphone, a recent gift from an HGRM Intercessor. It was very helpful to have this all set up so that I did not have to use a lapel Microphone or the hand-held Microphone.
After the morning worship, I provided a brief teaching on the 19 positions of worship taken from Biblical research. Then I introduced each of the approximately 100 Worship Instruments providing explanation, description, design, Scripture references, and the languages of colors, signs, numbers and symbols.
Then I asked Elijah, Vishaal and Annie’s son, who is 4 years old, to take the bottle of Holy Anointing Oil and anoint every person in the place. It is not the first time the LORD has sent an Elijah to assist me in ministry.
The season of Worship was a time of great release for intercession for the Nations of the World.
We worshiped for about an hour in pure GLORY! Every single person in the room arose to worship. To begin with some stood, some danced, some came up to the table and worshiped with Prophetic Flags, Glory Rings, Prayer Shawls, and so much more. After the second or third song every single person was dancing. It was sweet from my perspective, to watch YESHUA walk among them as they worshiped. HE brought anointed gifts like HE always does. Gifts of deliverance, healing, reconciliation, revelation, love, laughter, joy, hope. The atmosphere was filled with HIS Glory and Presence. Such an anointed time.
One elderly woman, named Norma, who has used a cane/walker for some time came up front using the walker to bring me a heartfelt hug me, to thank me, and then to pray a blessing over me and H.G.R.M.. When she finished her prayer, I began praying a blessing over her…then she looked into my eyes, I smiled, as I could see YESHUA standing with her, then she let go of the walker and began dancing…and never touched the walker again. Oh Joy!
At the close of the service, Pastor Vishaal shared a vision that he had about lots of ribbons, colors, and more colors exploding, then in the center, the word Love...it was just quite something…very anointed, full of the LORD's Glory.
The leadership of the church and then later, the pastors, mentioned that every single person in the church had trouble getting to church that morning…car troubles, phone calls, family emergencies, and more. They could see the relationship between the warfare and the victories.
The HIS Glory Reigns Banner was left on loan at the church for them to enjoy until they have a banner of their own. The holy, sacred anointing is still very tangible on the banner even though Constance J. Thew made it years ago! The truth is that the Anointing of YESHUA is the Anointing of YESHUA…HE Never Changes!
After the service, gratefully, there were two more men to help Jeremiah to load the vehicle. Praise God!
Before the evening service we shared a meal and spent the afternoon getting to know each other. Pastor Vishaal and Annie reminded me in the Spiritual Realm of Pastors David and Elaine LeRoy in Great Bend, Kansas. They are truly called and anointed to this place in this season. Before this ministry outreach, I filed for a job-transfer to Milwaukie, in hopes that it will be approved and that I will be positioned to move to this area and call The LORD’s Harvest International Church my home church.
Following the Sunday Evening service, I drove to the beautiful mansion along the winding river. As soon as my head touched the pillow, I was asleep.
About 10:45 PM Pastor Vishaal called wanting to know if I needed dinner. I thanked him for the offer and then he said, “Oh, we will be there in about 15 minutes and we are so looking forward to talking with you tonight.” Laughing out loud at the strength and energy of the youthful ones, I arose, dressed, and prepared to greet them when they arrived home about 11:00 PM. We shared until after 1:00 AM and we are both expecting the LORD to open the door for me to move to Milwaukie in the next month or so. As I am in international ministry, it is a rare gift to connect with local pastors that truly have an international vision and a passion to worship in spirit and truth (John 4:24).
July 14, 2014, Monday ~ This morning began slowly like the rhythm of the river flowing peacefully through the carved-out channel. Song birds echoing their sounds. Such beauty is rare in the desert of Central Oregon where I reside.
As, I was sitting outside in a lawn chair next to the Clackamas River, enjoying the cool, clean, refreshing air and majestic landscape, Elijah came out of the house, walked over to me and asked, “Grandma Joy, can I sit by you?” We sat for about 3 minutes, which is about how long a 4-year-old likes to sit…then we went on adventure hunt, found a mushroom and a frog, then found sticks to throw in the river, kicked a soccer ball around, viewed the world through binoculars and had a very great time. Then Elijah, Isaiah and I watched the children’s movie about David killing Goliath.
Yesterday, during the morning worship service, I gave Elijah “David's Slingshot” Worship Instrument. As he just could not let go of it and it fit his hand perfectly. Then I found out later from his mom, that last week, Elijah announced to his parents that he needed to change his name to David. They are planning to add the middle name of David, Elijah David and thought the Slingshot was quite a prophetic announcement of what Elijah already knew in his spirit. God works in mysterious ways and sometimes in very obvious ways, when we take a moment to watch HIS movements.
Departing in the late afternoon, and making some stops along the way, I arrived home about 7:30 PM to a 90 plus degree home without air conditioning and very smoky skies. After unloading the vehicle of the four suitcases, five hat boxes along with flags, staffs, and so much more…there was time to spend in Communion with my King YESHUA!
