Beginning and Advanced Prophetic Worship Glory Ring Workshops ~ Southern California, USA
March 5, 2002, Tuesday ~ Gratefully, I arrived in Burbank, California at 9:16 PM following a delayed flight due to a malfunctioning deicer and broken engine starter. There are many, many changes in airport security, and it is rather unnerving to see uniformed soldiers with rifles in American airports. Perhaps one might say the warfare has changed!
As we arrived in Moorpark, the refreshing spring rain began to gently fall. The Holy Spirit provided the following prophetic scripture:
“… the land into which you are about to cross to possess it, a land of hills and valleys, drinks water from the rain of heaven, a land for which the LORD you God cares; the eyes of the LORD you God are always on it, from the beginning even to the end of the year. It shall come about, if you listen obediently to my commandments which I am commanding you today, to love the LORD your God and to serve HIM with all your heart and all your soul, that HE will give the rain for your land in its season, the early and late rain, that you may gather in your grain and your new wine and your oil. HE will give grass in your fields for your cattle and you will eat and be satisfied.” ~ Deuteronomy 11:11-15, NASB
May the Commanded Blessing of the Most High God! Rain! Reign! and Rein in Moorpark, California! Let it rain!
March 6, 2002, Wednesday ~ Tina, my gracious, beautiful and kind host for the weekend, and I spent the morning outlining the plans for the week. Then we joined others for an exquisite and delightful brunch! Along the journey, we prayed in the Spirit and released Holy Anointing Oil on Madera/Royal Road where the La Posada hotel is located and along Hwy 23 and Tierra Rajada. This is a place where many vehicles wrecks and subsequent deaths had taken place, therefore, our purpose to remove the curses upon the land and bring YESHUA's life giving anointing.
In the early evening, I met with Randy and Colette. After a leisurely dinner, we spent a very intense time in the presence, power and glory of the LORD praying, interceding, and literally stepping into the whirlwind of God’s power. As the LORD gave a mandate to facilitate Prophetic Worship Glory Ring Workshops in the four corners of America this year, I was very grateful for their prophetic intercessory faith. They also shared that a huge wind storm had come to Moorpark on March 1, one week ago, which was the day I flew into Eureka, California. We are praying for a fresh, powerful wind of God to overtake and refresh the people of ABBA ADONAI.
Later in the evening, Kim, Karyn and I met for tea. Kim prepared an extravagant tea with countless gifts and expressions of love. Following the tea time, The Three Musketeer meetings, as I affectionately termed our times of intercessory prayer, moved to the master’s prayer tower and we enjoyed a sweet time soaking in the presence, power, purpose, providence, anointing and glory of the Holy Spirit.
March 7, 2002, Thursday ~ Today a tornado literally touched down in Stockton, California, which was completely unexpected. Sometimes the prophetic winds of the Holy Spirit are similar to a tornado-unexpected and with great power. It is most beneficial to keep one’s eyes on YESHUA!
Kim met me at 9:30 AM and provided transportation to Westlake Village where we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at Jack’s Restaurant. As the Holy Spirit had directed Kim to this particular place, she wanted to know if the name “Jack” had special meaning for me, since the LORD was specific in designating the place we were to eat. I responded to her, “My only thought was my Uncle Jack who went home to heaven seven years ago.” And I silently pondered if another Jack would be merging onto my path sometime in the future.
On the way to Westlake Village the numbers 45/45 was on the road, which symbolized double portion inheritance. Isaiah 45 and Psalm 45 were quickened in my spirit. It was a great encouragement of the LORD!
After a leisurely breakfast, we stopped by her parent’s home, so I could meet them and pray for her mother. They were not home, so I poured out Holy Anointing Oil, prayed over their property and we headed for West Lake. Kim mentioned that the only thing she asked of the LORD for this trip to California was for me to pray for her mother. The LORD told Kim that when I came to California, “the cavalry was coming.”
We prayed, decreed, declared and poured out Holy Anointing Oil in Three Springs, Saddle Mountain, Westlake, and Triuno Creek’s dry bed. At Westlake, when Kim threw the Holy Anointing Oil into the lake, the bottle slipped out of her hand, and popped upside down floating on the water, held by a bubble of air in the bottle. A little circle of glory was reflected in the water and it triggered a thought in my mind that sometimes it feels like the LORD pops our lives upside down to demonstrate HIS Glory to us.
This morning’s prayer journey also included the Middle Gate and Baron’s Gate. As we traveled, Psalm 100 arose in my spirit,
“Enter HIS Gates with Thanksgiving and HIS courts with Praise! Give thanks to HIM, bless HIS name. For the LORD is good; HIS lovingkindness is everlasting and HIS faithfulness to all generations.” ~ Psalm 100:4, 5, NASB
We understood that the LORD gave us a mandate to pray for the four corners of the territory. The southwest corner was the Gateway Church at Agoura Hills where we anointed the creek, the gate and the road. Then the northwest corner was the Lighthouse Project at Newbury Park where we anointed the thresholds of the doorways. While we were at the Lighthouse Project, the wind stirred up and began whirling around the parking lot. The northeast gate was the Foursquare Church in Ojai. The final gate was The Foursquare Church in Pasadena, which was in the southeast. The LORD had extended the north and east Gates. HE had extended the tent pegs of the line of demarcation that HE set the year before. Increase is very much like HIM! The LORD spoke clearly about four corners, the four winds in Ezekiel, the four pillars of the Foursquare Church, and in Nahum regarding the Cavalry and the whirlwind (Daniel 7:2; Ezekiel 37:9; Matthew 24:31; Mark 13:27). It is our joy to walk in obedience to the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY!~ Kim and I finished praying over the first two gates and then the Holy Spirit spoke to me that we were to meet Randy and Colette for the afternoon prayer session at 1 PM So we headed toward the destination, arriving 30 minutes early. We stopped by a local thrift store and looked for worship instruments supplies. While we were shopping, I mentioned to Kim that we needed to leave the store, even though it was still a few minutes before the appointed rendezvous. There was an un-explainable urgency in my spirit.
As we walked out of the store across the hot cement parking lot towards her car, her parents drove in to the parking lot, turned around and headed out the same way they came. Kim honked the horn to get their attention, which was not successful, so we followed them across the overpass to the Alamo Restaurant. When we first spotted their car, they had missed an exit and pulled into the parking lot to make a U-turn. There is something to be said for the timing of the LORD. HE is always amazing!
Canopied by the beautiful, warm California sun, I met her parents in the restaurant parking lot and we briefly visited. Embraced by kind summer breezes, Kim and I walked with them from the parking lot to the restaurant. I held her Mom’s hand and prayed the whole time. Kim was ecstatic not only because God answered her prayer, but HE also gave her a miracle, a testimony to HIS goodness and mercy. God is always about loving us!
Kim and I met Randy, Colette and Megan at Living Word, a church where Randy was the youth pastor for 11 years. We prayed over the doors of the church and then headed for Ojai. As an explanation for our methods of prayer, Deuteronomy 6:9, "You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” In like manner we anointed the doorposts with Holy Anointing Oil and prayed the Holy Scriptures over the doorways, thresholds, gates and entrances to the house and/or any possible or potential dwelling place of the LORD.
On the way to Ojai, we stopped at Emma Wood State Beach in Ventura County along the Pacific Coast Highway. It was a perfect place to pour out Holy Anointing Oil into the Pacific Ocean along the Southern California coast. The warm sun and blustery wind accompanied us to the beach like long lost friends, surrounding us completely with affectionate hugs. While walking on the beach, Randy brought a little shell to me and placed it in my hand saying, “This is a Pismo Beach Clam from Morro bay.” I just stared at him incredulously because when I was 12-years-old, my grandmother took me to Morro bay to go clamming for Pismo beach clams. Only God knew that!
After we poured out the Holy Anointing Oil into the Pacific Ocean, we walked towards the place where we parked the vehicle. Randy, without explanation, darted off like a gazelle running from a fire, towards the hills where the railway tracks were located. He returned quickly with a bent rusted railroad spike and indicated that the Holy Spirit inspired him to make me a new worship instrument. With great joy and enthusiasm, he took the railroad spike home, cleaned and polished it, then engraved “CA RR 03.07.02” on the side and gave it to me. I left with deep gratitude to the LORD for introducing me to those who walk in complete and immediate obedience, because now a Jael spike has been added to my worship instrument arsenal.
The testimony of Jael is recorded in Judges 4 and 5. The closing verse accolades Jael in this manner, “Most blessed of women is Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite; Most blessed is she of women in the tent.” ~ Judges 5:24 We traveled north along Highway 101, the coastal highway running from Southern California to northern Washington, with more than 1200 miles of scenic ocean views. Our strategic targets for prayer included the Ojai Foursquare Church, crossing over Portal Street and past Sulphur Mountain. The church is located on Hines Mountain, which is the highest peak in Ventura County. Ventura County established the mint for the United States. May we be indelibly imprinted by the personality of the Holy Spirit! The LORD made sure that we went to a high place, like Elijah on Mount Carmel! (1 Kings 18:19). How like HIM!
We drove through the city of Camarillo on the return trip to Moorpark, which is home to the Jubilee Church we attended in March 2001. Our warm sunny afternoon and scenic cruise provided extravagant views of the lush panoramic California orchards and picturesque farm lands including date palms, banana palms, coconut palms, lemon trees and orange groves. Our prayer journey included highways 34, 101 (North - South), 23 (East - West), 118, and 33.
As we closed the gap to Moorpark, the clouds formed in a particular way and I drew the shape in my journal. As I did not have a laptop at this time, it meant any emails, research, and journaling would have to wait until I returned home. The shape turned out to be the seventh letter of the Hebrew 22-letter alphabet: Zayin (ז). It means the sword of the LORD. It was a confirmation and affirmation that the Holy Spirit was releasing the sword of the LORD, Hebrews 4:12, throughout our prayer journey that day! Glory to YESHUA, the KING of Kings!
“For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do. Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore, let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” ~ Hebrews 4:12-16 In the late afternoon, we met Tina at La Posada Royal, which means “royal rest” to pray over the facilities for the Workshop. After dinner, we attended the youth group Service at SonRise Pacific Foursquare church in Moorpark, an evening of much intercession and prayer, which continued when we returned to Tina’s.
March 8, 2002, Friday ~ In the morning, we arose early to prepare for the Morning Glory Tea which was held at Tina’s luxurious home. I taught the morning session of the Beginning Prophetic Worship Glory Ring Workshop to provide an open door for those who desired to attend the Advanced Beginning Glory Ring Workshop the next day. In the afternoon, after ministering to those at the tea, I went to Randy and Colette’s to pray with some students from Pepperdine University. The LORD was clearly ordering HIS divine appointments. In the evening, I prepared for the Workshop following an over-the-top gourmet dinner presented by Tina’s husband.
March 9, 2002, Saturday ~ The Advanced Prophetic Glory Ring Workshop was held at La Posada Hotel, an extravagant location, where 16 men and women gathered to make Prophetic Worship Glory Rings. Glory to God! People brought many gifts of worship instrument supplies to the ministry. It is always amazing to see someone bring a gift, that is exactly what another needs. Only God! One woman left early in tears not able to complete her Glory Ring, while the two young girls in the room finished before anyone else. Sometimes being youthful is an advantage when moving into a new thing with the LORD. The teenagers seemed to possess much less fear of failure and much more confidence. Students are usually more prepared to learn. In the adjacent meeting room, someone was hosting a hypnotist workshop. I find it difficult to imagine a person choosing the wisdom of a hypnotist when the abundant wisdom of the Holy Spirit is so readily available.
After the workshop, Karyn and I went to Living Word Christian Fellowship to attend the Saturday evening service. The LORD opened the door for me to meet the pastor of the church where she fellowships. It was a divine blessing indeed.
Upon returning to Tina’s later that evening, we watched the movie, The Musketeer. The Holy Spirit gave me the following list about spiritual warfare:
-You can get hit in the river. -You must learn to fight in the air. -Always look up. -Always keep your eyes open in the enemy’s camp. -You must learn to fight while climbing ladders. -Be prepared to go alone. -Be willing to go alone. -Go alone. -Don’t speak non-essentials to the enemy. -Be willing to walk in the sewer out of obedience to the LORD. -Your friends will betray you. -Sometimes queens are dressed in peasant’s clothing. -Never Give Up.
March 10, 2002, Sunday ~ In the morning, a few of us gathered at Life Spring Community Church for the service and received a vibrant message from the book of Ephesians.
Gratefully, Karyn provided transportation to the airport. The temperature was 69 degrees, a word of “Mission Accomplished” from Our FATHER GOD and a ministry outreach filled with HIS grace and mercy! This ministry trip was provided for most extravagantly.
With a grateful heart. For the Eternal Glory of YESHUA!
