Journal of Joy ~ Prince of Peace ~ July 9-18, 2003
Prayer Journey and Beginning Prophetic Glory Ring Workshop July 9, 2003, Wednesday ~ Early arrival at PDX – 4:30 AM – On the wing of the plane below my window were the following vivid red letters: Caution this is a vortex control device. There is something new to learn every day! We arrived safely in Denver at gate A-39 where the “Tornado Shelter” sign is posted. Signs of caution and warning, I am taking note.
Before leaving for Colorado, the Holy Spirit had clearly spoken that I was flying into a “hornet’s nest.” On the flight the Holy Spirit spoke Numbers 7:77, which speaks of the peace offering. The LORD was simply asking me to bring JESUS, the Prince of Peace to each person that I met, to intentionally bring an atmosphere of heavenly peace.
Lisa and her two children, Sarah and Zak met me up at the airport and a midnight blue trailblazer led the way as we headed north to Fort Collins. Lisa asked if there was anything that I wanted to do, and I heard the Holy Spirit mention the words, “Salvation Army.” She looked a little perplexed and said that she did not know Denver that well. Immediately, I noticed one on the right-hand side of the freeway and asked if that one would be okay. She laughed and so the week began! GOD always has a plan and always has blessings prepared. It is my heart’s desire to be a part of both as HE releases them. Often the LORD will provide scarves, jewelry, and other adornments for Glory Rings at thrift stores. There were many treasures, but the one that pierced my spirit the most was a golden globe with a golden eagle perched inside with flecks of gold swirling around. The walnut base of the globe was inscribed with:
He that waits upon the LORD shall renew his strength. He will mount up with wings as eagles. The gold seal on the bottom of the base: 24K Gold Flakes, Lifetime Warranty, Made in the USA, Rains up to 5 minutes Golden Rain, Twist Vigorously and See the Difference.
We left Denver and continued north to Fort Collins stopping in Loveland where Lisa, Sarah, Zak and I shared lunch at their family’s favorite Italian restaurant. A miniature Statue of Liberty is positioned on the shores of Loveland Lake. It was a large, visible reminder of the time I spent ministering in New York in the summer of 2001. A few weeks ago, we prayed for a new home for Mic and Lisa, so we stopped by to see their “Miracle House” as they were just moving in. The banner that I saw in the spirit over their home was “The Rose of Sharon and Passion for JESUS House.”
Noticing that Zak’s legs and arms were covered with bleeding sores I asked Zak, “What is all over you?” He said, “They don’t know.” I asked, “Who doesn’t know?” Lisa explained that the doctor’s did not know and that he had the sores for a long time. When the doctor’s don’t know….GOD does. So I just asked PAPA GOD, “Is this of you?” HE said, “NO WAY, not my work, the evil one as done this.” Perhaps it seemed obvious that it was not of GOD, but I have learned to ask HIM everything, and make no presumptions. Once I hear from the LORD, I am confident in HIM doing what HE says HE will do. It truly irritated my spirit that this young champion of the LORD had been attacked. After praying for Zak, I gave him a bottle of anointing oil and asked him to dab some oil on the sores daily. The LORD said that when the anointing oil was gone the sores would be gone. Following my return journey home, the email arrived confirming the LORD’s faithfulness to completely heal and restore a ten-year-old boy in Loveland, Colorado. Glory to HIS NAME!
The evening held a wonderful get-acquainted BBQ at John and Robin’s in Fort Collins. There are few occasions in life as warm and welcoming as a meticulously prepared family BBQ with all the trimmings. Robin greeted me with a package of many Colorado treasures – the inscription on the card is worth noting:
“Welcome to Colorado…Colorado has 55 of the 200 highest mountains in the world; and obviously, after stating that fact – the highest average elevation. May we ascend in HIM!” (Psalm 55)
After the BBQ, Lisa drove me over to Kevin and Stacey’s in Wellington where I would be staying the first few days of this journey. Often the night before a trip is spent preparing and praying. Even though the last forty-eight hours without any sleep was beginning to take effect, Stacey and I stayed up until after midnight getting acquainted, sharing about Glory Rings, and what we have heard the Holy Spirit speak to us regarding this present season.
The simply adorned room in their basement where I stayed was like a “Moses Cave,” which was simply a parable to a place that GOD met Moses. I pray daily that GOD will meet me, that I will be in the fullness of HIS will, presence and purposes as I desire to walk in immediate obedience to HIS voice. The banner that I saw over Kevin and Stacey’s 100 year-old brick home was “Inheritance of the LORD.”
July 10, 2003 - Thursday ~ In the morning, the Holy Spirit had given Stacey these Scriptures: Isaiah 22:22, Psalms 7, 107 and Isaiah 35:8. HE also gave me Isaiah 9 and Isaiah 65, which were the same Scriptures that HE gave me when I visited Colorado in 1999.
Lisa picked me up early and we headed south for Colorado Springs to the Terry MacAlmon Worship Festival at Pike’s Peak Conference Center. On the journey south, we stopped by Christian International of the Rockies to meet Pastor Jimmie. We arrived at 3:33 PM (Jeremiah 33:3) – a very divine, anointed and appointed meeting of the LORD.
After a long day of travel, we arrived at the Worship Festival at 7:00 PM and met Monica from Coal Creek, Colorado. Monica had been working on a Glory Ring with a hand-woven centerpiece of Pike’s Peak for the last three years. We spoke of it many times over the phone and it delighted to my soul and spirit to see the work completed and HIS purposes being fulfilled. As the conference center was not a place that facilitated Worship Flags or Glory Rings during worship. Disappointment was painted all over my face as we had traveled a very long distance to a Christian worship festival without any space to worship with Worship Flags and Glory Rings. The LORD heard my internal cry and it was immediately announced to the gathering audience that the balcony was immediately opened – so we went upstairs and worshiped in freedom. Praise the LORD!
During the evening, the LORD opened an opportunity for ministry and HE came and healed a woman suffering from chronic muscle, skeletal, and joint pain for ten years. As per usual, I pray, and JESUS heals. I love that about HIM! We ask. HE answers! We knock. HE opens! We call. HE hears! We cry. HE holds us in HIS arms!
July 11, 2003, Friday ~ In the early morning, I met with Paula, our HGRM Indigenous Peoples Advisor, and then we headed south to the conference again. The Holy Spirit gave Lisa, Song of Songs 2:11-12 this morning during worship. A very sweet spirit prevailed in this place. The temperature outside was 105 degrees, a very hot season in Colorado. Paula drove Sarah, Lisa and I back to Fort Collins in an air conditioned vehicle. Thank You Jesus!
Signs along the way: Crossroads and 33.
Paula and I discussed the Native American Prayer Shield that the Holy Spirit was birthing in the ministry. Ahhhhhh...GOD is always preparing us for the next season. HE is the FAITHFUL ONE!
The evening held the Fort Collins House of Prayer Worship Intercession with Kevin and Stacey at the helm. It is an answer to prayer and purely providential to see so many Houses of Prayer being birthed in America. The Holy Spirit provided a divine opportunity to pray, intercede, seek the face of GOD and meet more of HIS precious people.
July 12, 2003, Saturday ~ The Beginning Prophetic Glory Ring Workshop was held at the Fort Collins House of Prayer facility. Housed in a small cement block building with non-effective air conditioning, it truly was the fire and rain of GOD, as we were literally in a sauna all day. The atmosphere of Glory was a little thicker and heavier than usual. Affectionately, I refer to the day as the “Colorado Glory Sauna.” Fourteen daughters of the MOST HIGH GOD! (Ages 5, 7, 12….77 - three children, eleven women) worshiped, danced, made worship instruments and heard from the LORD all for HIS glory! The LORD generously answered our prayers. The House of Prayer was moved to a new building as of October 1, 2003. Praise the LORD! More room, more parking space, air conditioning, and higher ceilings. Thank You JESUS!
July 13, 2003, Sunday ~ We attended Friends in Christ Fellowship in Fort Collins where the anointing was very sweet and freedom in the spirit given lavishly. Someone from the previous day’s workshop saved us a place to sit, and I found myself behind a man with two Shofars. I so liked that! Only GOD!
During the worship the Holy Spirit gave me a very vivid, intense view into the spiritual realm. As I looked to the heavens, the LORD was sending a reverse whirlwind in vibrant colors of the rainbow to this place where I was worshiping HIM. As Revelation 4 speaks of the rainbow at the throne of GOD, it is not uncommon for me to see rainbows while worshiping, but nothing quite like this. Rainbows are a round circle, a covenant ring as it were, from heaven’s perspective. They become an arc from the earth’s perspective because the shape of the earth limits our view. In other words, we cannot see the other side of the earth because it is round not flat. Returning to the vision, the heavenly whirlwind spun out of control from the human perspective – whirling so fast it could not all be contained with human eyesight. The room became filled with the spinning colors of the rainbow. Angels were spun out of the whirlwind into the room and began ministering to the people gathered. Although I had seen blue, pink, silver, white and gold angels before, this was my first time to see a lavender angel, and he was just HUGE! He was positioned at the back of the room and I watched him pour “THE FAVOR OF GOD” over the people.
Pastor Mark taught on the Scriptures: John 12:24-29, Romans 11:29, Acts 2:38, 39, and Esther 4 – “For Such a Time as This.” Then he offered two or three times for people to come forward to share a testimony. The LORD requires of me that I wait until I am personally invited then I know it is HIS timing and perfect will. At the end of the service, Pastor Mark offered again. Stacey took the microphone and shared the portion the LORD gave her, then she began sharing about what I had seen, then Pastor Mark directed, “Give her the microphone.” Ahhh….that was my cue to share, even though I was kneeling on the floor behind the chair where the man with the two Shofars was sitting. I could not sit up or stand up as the presence of the Glory of the LORD was far too weighty (Ezekiel 44:4). The experience left me completely undone for sometime – Angels spinning rainbows or rainbows spinning angels – either way it was breathtaking.
After the service, Stacey and I stopped for a quick lunch then went to the Leslie’s home to pray for Samuel, her son who was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. I met Leslie and her daughter, Destiny, the day before at the workshop. I asked permission to come over to their home and pray for him. My simple prayer was that one morning Samuel will wake up and he will be completely and totally healed and “SURPRISED by GOD!” They were very kind and gracious in allowing me to pray for Samuel and add my prayer to thousands of others who were faithful to pray for this set-apart family. Samuel’s spontaneous joy and tangible faith were such a testimony for the light of Jesus. Then Mark, Leslie and Samuel drove me over to Mic and Lisa’s where we all fellowshipped for a while.
A page in the Denver Post read: Come on up to Penny Heaven. Since this was the day to baptize Sarah Joy Kate and Zakery Michael, and I was ONE SENT by the LORD, it was really a visit to heavenly realm as the angels were proclaiming the glorious news! Anticipation increased as we neared the Big Thompson River in Loveland where Sarah and Zak were going to be baptized.
Lisa wrote the following:
“Sarah Kate - Born on May 27, 1991. Born again in the winter of 1997. Filled with the Holy Spirit in the spring of 1998. BAPTIZED by Jennifer Joy on Sunday, July 13, 2003. Zakery Michael - Born on December 29, 1992. Born again in April of 1998. Filled with the Holy Spirit August 1998. BAPTIZED by Jennifer Joy on Sunday, July 13, 2003.
Earlier this year, I poured out the wine, anointing oil, and salt as directed by the Holy Spirit and while we were there, Zak and Sarah came to the realization that they were to be baptized in the Thompson Valley River at Glade Road, under the bridge, in Loveland, Colorado. On July 31, 1976, there was a flood that came through the canyon leading up from Loveland to Rocky Mountain National Park and the Continental Divide. It killed many people that were in the canyon that night. I personally was in the canyon at a birthday party for my mom that very night and escaped. The kids and I poured out the anointing oil, salt from Jerusalem, and New Port Wine over this spot where many of the bodies washed up to shore because the Lord said that He was exchanging death for LIFE and LIGHT in REDEMPTION. We came to this spot from the previous prayer assignment of “Devil's Backbone.” In the short drive, there was a "sign" on the side of an old farmhouse, in red - like blood dripping that read: FREEDOM. We went under the bridge that went over the river as highway 34. The water was flowing strongest there. We saw fox tracks. The Holy Spirit led us to pray Song of Songs 2:15. My heart was touched, and I fervently sang to HIM my desire that HE would take for us the FOXES, the little foxes that spoil the vineyards of our love, FOR OUR VINEYARDS ARE IN BLOSSOM!
We proclaimed this portion of Scripture along with others at the LORD’s unction. We spoke protection for the lambs, purity without spoiling, protection. As we were walking back to the car, the water sparkled like diamonds! Incredible LIGHT. Many fish jumped in the sun! LIFE. Zak saw Jesus calling us like HE called Peter to walk with Him on the water. We prayed an increase of understanding of HIS CARE of us, HIS sheep. HIS compassion and love. We asked HIM to overwhelm HIS lambs and that they would blindly trust HIM. Both Sarah and Zak knew this was the spot where the Lord was going to use them in a prophetic act for not only themselves in baptism, but additionally for our region, touching the Nations even to AWAKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! with the kiss of LIFE. They knew that Jennifer Joy was to be the one to baptize them.
Sunday, July 13, 2003 in the late afternoon, overcast weather, driving to the spot, there was a police officer on the right side of the road as we pulled out of our sub-division. God gave me Joshua 1: 5-11 to proclaim for our family at the baptism because this act would change not only Sarah and Zak, it would change our entire family forever from this day forward.
We ventured under the bridge. Until this moment I wasn't positively sure where God would have the baptism take place. The small picnic area in the park had several families. People were in the water. This was significant. We went under the bridge. Jennifer was brave. This released the FREEDOM the Lord had proclaimed when we had visited this spot on assignment before. I hear “IT IS FINISHED!” Hence, the blood-like dripping paint spelling FREEDOM! on the old farmhouse. We claim sanctuary in the Blood of the ONE LAMB Who was sacrificed for ALL lambs. Mike baptized the kids as Jennifer prayed over them. Sarah was first, Zak was second. Jennifer wore red. The freedom/blood thing! Jennifer's shoes were purple. They are washed and drying on the porch in the sun this morning. Blue skies. Clear day.
In Lisa’s email she mentioned that I was “brave.” This is my first time to step under a cement bridge by a river since I was a young teenage girl where I was molested. It was HUGE to me that GOD would take the time to make all these arrangements for the REDEMPTION of so many! I am so grateful to have a new memory of redemption under a bridge. Oh, how sweet to remember this baptism of Sarah, age 12 and Zak, age 10! The depth of GOD’s love never ceases to completely amaze me.
We returned to Mike and Lisa’s and enjoyed an amazing celebration BBQ after which Lisa returned me to Kevin and Stacey’s.
July 14, 2003, Monday ~ Stacey and I departed at the opening of dawn, heading for Cheyenne, Wyoming under clear blue skies and the wide open range surrounding us. Our destiny was to pray for the Capitol of Wyoming and crossover into Nebraska and pray for that State as well.
Signs along the way: Shell, Bread Turnover 119, Fire King, Fire Works, Flying J, Port of Entry, Yellow, God Bless America, Lincoln Way, Jesus Loves you Smile, Reach for the Star, Salt Flavor for Your Home, 77 degrees is 24 Celsius - 10:14 AM, 107th Annual Cheyenne Frontier Days, 24th Street – Capital of Wyoming.
We anointed the Capitol Building with “HIS Glory Coming Down” Anointing Oil at strategic places such as the key holes, photo of Esther Hobart Morris, State Seal 44th and the doors of the House and Senate Chambers.
On the way through town we drove by and prayed for the Corlete Elementary School. We had a divine appointment at the thrift store and found many treasures for the Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona and Nebraska State Glory Rings.
Signs along the way:Change is good, Eagle Tribune, Eagle’s Nest, Change poured out.
As we crossed over into Nebraska at 1:19 PM, a golden eagle soared above us. We continued along the way until we arrived at our destiny, the town of Kimball, Nebraska, the high point of Nebraska to pour out holy anointing oil and pray. Then we stopped by the grain elevator to pour out oil, proclaiming and decreeing that a season of new grain is upon us. This was my initial time to pray and pour out Anointing Oil in the States of Wyoming and Nebraska.
On the return journey, we stopped at Pine Bluffs, Wyoming where the Texas Trail Museum is located on Market and 3rd Street. There were two doves on the lawn as we drove up. Doves typically symbolize the presence and the peace of ABBA ADONAI! Then we poured out Anointing Oil on the brands, we prayed that JESUS would brand this city, which was established in 1919, with HIS divine anointing and unconditional love.
The LORD was steadfast in providing protection, provision, blessing and favor upon our journey. It was a full long day of many, many surprises, hidden treasures and blessings of the LORD!
July 15, 2003, Monday ~ At the first light of the day, the Holy Spirit gave Stacey, Psalm 77 and Psalm 33 as we journeyed to the Capital City of Colorado. It is delightful to travel with faithful daughters of the Most High God. As we were driving to Denver, Stacey heard a ‘screaming eagle’ in the spirit realm and looked at me as though I had screamed, but I did not make a sound even though my spirit might have been screaming like an eagle.
As I was intentionally attuning my thoughts to God’s thoughts regarding the revelation knowledge of the ‘screaming eagle,’ David called from Arizona with a prophetic word over me as we were traveling to Denver, Colorado. He said that GOD was sending me into the Hidden Places to Unlock Mysteries and that GOD had given me the key to HIS Treasure Chest. The LORD was giving me the keys to Denver, and that I was to pray prophetically over the city. A medic helicopter flew over as I was talking with David. Usually, whenever I go to a Capital City a helicopter flies over – just a visual reminder from the LORD to me to stay focused, stay on task, do what HE has asked me to do – nothing more, nothing less.
A friend visiting Glacier, Montana today called while we were praying over the City of Denver. The park was being evacuated due to fires. The MacDonald Lake area where we stayed last July 2002 was on fire. Stacey and I prayed for the holy fire of GOD to sweep across Montana changing the spiritual atmosphere.
Signs along the way: AM BEST, Eagle Crest, Psalm 37, 888(3x), Psalm 112 (3x), Shell 1.35 and 1.45, Eagle International 142, Trail King, Hi Strength Bolt Company, Song of Songs, 222, 24/7 in Presence of GOD, Operate in Holy of Holies, Knight Transportation, Land Star, Klamath, Cherokee, Speer.
The US Mint is located on 14th Street in Denver and the Capital is surrounded by the streets named Lincoln, Sherman, Grant and Logan.
Stacey and I met my nephew, Christopher at the Capitol. It is a rare treasure for me to see or spend any time with my family. Christopher and I spent the afternoon together. After we left the Capitol, we continued on the culminating drive to Golden where Christopher was a recent graduate of the Colorado School of Mines. After Christopher gave me a brief tour of downtown Golden, I asked to go to a florist shop. Christopher’s mother, my sister Susan, was buried in Golden in April 1997 and this was my first time to visit her grave site. It is important honor those that have gone before us to their heavenly inheritance and home. As I laid the bouquet of colorful Gerber Daisies on the grave stone, marked Susan Kay Hammitt, Beloved Wife and Mother, August 18, 1949 – March 31, 1997, it began to rain ever so softly. It rained for exactly five minutes in Golden then subsided. I remembered the Golden Eagle Globe from the thrift store in Denver on the first day. GOD kept HIS promise – “GOLDEN RAIN, five minutes.” Sometimes HE remembers things we do not and surprises us with expressions of HIS divine love.
Signs along the way:Gold-Filtered
Christopher drove us up to Look Out Mountain above the city where we passed through the large entrance gates of Denver’s Mountain Parks. Above the city of Golden, on one precipitous cliff is a large white letter M for the Colorado School of Mines, and across the deep valley on the steep slope is a large white letter G for Golden. The M is similar to the M in the Missoula Basin, Montana. I thought the letters MG might be PAPA GOD imprinting HIS initials in the land. MG – Mighty God! Marvelous God! Majestic God! Magnificent God!
Signs along the way: Golden Plaza, Keystone, 444
Robin arrived in Golden around 4:30 PM to meet us and chauffeur me to Fort Collins. We had a couple of divine appointments along the way that continued to lavishly demonstrate the faithfulness of the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY! We returned to the Capitol to take more photos and anoint more land. We walked around the grounds and anointed the fountain, the Liberty Bell, the front steps, the front door key holes, and the lights on the front steps. Then we went to where the Platte River and Cherry Creek intersect in Denver, the place where gold was discovered. We poured anointing oil there as well as in Cherry Creek near the Capitol.
Another day filled with the GLORY and GRACE of a loving ALMIGHTY GOD! JESUS is my Principal Joy!
July 16, 2003, Tuesday ~ In the morning, I met with Lisa for about three hours, which was just a sweet gift from PAPA GOD. In the afternoon, Robin drove me over to Pastor Mark and Barbara’s from Friends in Christ Fellowship where two or three are gathered in HIS name, and we invested the time praying and seeking the LORD’s face. It was a very, sweet anointed time of fellowship and prayer.
Signs along the way: Shields, Three Horses, Applewood 45, Eagle, Fore Runner, Harmony, Raintree, 007, Plum, Shields
Our next destination was to meet Pastor Luree of The Ark of the Word of Life Center. After brief introductions, we devoted a couple of hours in intercessory prayer for the pastors and churches in the city, for any academic structure and the inhabitants therein, for the local and state government, and for our nation. Although, I had only been traveling as an itinerant minister for about four years, I learned that there are countless ways to pray. Some stand, some sit, some walk, some pace, some stomp, some kneel, some bow, some whisper, some yell, some quote scriptures, some copy others, and some pray in silence. The point being is that intercessory prayer is a form of communication with God, so the prayer typically represent the intercessor’s personality, faith and religious training. Robin and I departed following our season of prayer and a tour of the facility.
Robin’s husband, John, had fired up the BBQ in preparation for our late return. What a delight to have an evening to get acquainted with others in the family of GOD that have similar passions for worship, intercession and ministry to families.
July 17, 2003, Wednesday ~ Robin, Cody (John and Robin’s son) and I headed west to Estes Park, Colorado and the Continental Divide, a truly high place to pray and pour out anointing oil. A land filled with glacis, glaciers, and extraordinarily grand mountains adorned with majestic beautiful mountain lakes and streams.
Signs along the way: Sea of Fire, Fire Fest
We stopped by a small roadside store and talked with a man who was a part of the Thompson River Flood, which was apparently caused by some cloud seeding. It was July 31, 1976, and 144 people lost their lives. He said the flood hit at 2:30 PM, and the emergency call was at 8:00 PM when it was too late to save any family or friends. It took him four long arduous years to rebuild his roadside gift shop. After visiting with him, we journeyed to the roadside memorial and prayed for the families affected by the flood. The weight of grief was still heavy in the atmosphere. My heart broke for the families caught unaware, without any form of warning, without any chance to save a loved one. Along the rocky bank of the Thompson River, we stopped and prayed and poured Anointing Oil. Robin found five white round smooth stones. She stood up slowly from her crouching position at the river’s edge and then opened her hand and offered the five pure white stones to me. Immediately, I realized the spiritual significance and humbly received the gift. Like David the young man who killed the Philistine with just one stone (1 Samuel 17) may I be courageously perceptive and see obstacles in their true form. May I be bold and destroy the enemy before he destroys others.
As we entered Estes Park, Colorado, I perceived the Holy Spirit’s presence intensely arising in my spirit. My spiritual antennas were on high alert. Standing on the curved wood bridge over the river in the little park by the shopping mall the Holy Spirit turned me facing north. As I looked up into the heavens, I could see Yeshua dressed in full armor with HIS sword gleaming in the sun. With one very swift motion the sword thrust through the Continental Divide of America and split it creating a white fire rift through North America. The white fire represents the purity, holiness, righteousness and glory of the LORD. I trust that the LORD will be imparting to HIS people HIS attributes of purity, holiness, righteousness and glory according to HIS will, way, plans and purposes.
As we departed Estes Park to go into the heart of the National Park it began to rain. Counting sixty-nine bolts of lightning from my viewpoint inside the vehicle, I was overwhelmed by the raw power of GOD being released to earth like thousands of angelic warriors shooting arrows of fire to the enemies of GOD. Drops of heavy water pelted the car like the sound of a thousand drums. When the deluge of action from the heavens decreased in some measure we stopped at three points, Canyon Overlook 11,716 feet, Rock Cut elevation 12, 900 feet, and Fall River Pass at 11, 796 feet where we poured Anointing Oil and prayed for the reign of GOD to consume this place. The majestic beauty of this place is overwhelming and breathtaking.
Signs along the way: Sun Seeker, 444, (Ezekiel 44:4)
Rocky Mountain National Park is 415 square miles of consuming quintessential beauty. Trail Ridge Road ascends to 12,183 feet above sea level and is the highest continuous highway in North America as it navigates all travelers to Grand Lake. In this lofty country, there are over 104 prominent named peaks rising above 10,000 feet above sea level. Almost one third of the Park landscape ascends spaciously above 11,000 feet. Milner Pass at 10,759 feet above sea level is where the Continental Divide Sign is located two miles above sea level. Oh Glory! We saw a small herd of mountain elk near the edge of the narrow roadway and then nestled among the evergreen trees we spotted a female moose with her young calf.
Grand Lake at 8369-elevation in Grand County was our final destination where we poured anointed oil and prayed. We stayed at a newly constructed hotel, the Gateway Inn on 200 Portal Road in Grand Lake, Grand County, Colorado. After dinner, we stopped at the edge of the lake to pour out more anointing oil and pray for the city, that the LORD would bring an open portal of HIS mercy and grace to this place. The twinkling stars reflected a mirror-like image on the smooth surface of the ebony waters that had significantly calmed after the storm.
Abruptly, I awoke in the middle of the night with this word from the LORD! “A turning of the Code. The Code of Ethics. Code of Operations. Code of Functions. Code of Systems. Code of Transactions. Code of Ministries. Code of Truth.” Code is defined by Webster’s dictionary as a body of laws, any set of principles or rules of conduct. Trusting the LORD to reveal HIS purposes and plans in that which He speaks.
July 18, 2003, Thursday ~ We departed from the beautiful and comfortable hotel at 8:08 AM and went to the Chuck Hole Restaurant, the local’s recommendation for breakfast.
On the drive back down the mountains, we saw two different sets of four ravens, remembering the ravens that fed Elijah, therefore, we inquired of the LORD if HE had something HE wanted to feed to our spirits, such as revelation knowledge and wisdom.
Signs along the way:LORD of the Valley Church, Grand 55 County, Pole Creek Meadow Church, Pole Creek Valley 50, Hidden River, Winter Park City - 9110 Elevation, Berthoud Pass 11,307 – Continental Divide, Clear Creek – Gold Mine Tours, Mt Evans – Waterfall and Water Wheel, Loveland Pass, 88, Dominoes, Trail’s End, Freedom, 718 GTE.
The Holy Spirit had ordered my steps to be on the Continental Divide, the only three times in my life, in the last 12 months: 1. July 2002 – Glacier National Park, Montana-Logan Pass (2x) 2. March 2003 – MacDonald Pass (2x), Montana. 3. July 2003 - Estes Park, Colorado-Fall River Pass, Milner Pass, Berthoud Pass and Loveland Pass. This seemed significant as HE directed me to stop, pray, and pour out Anointing Oil in all three places. Eight mountain passes symbolizing eight gates, a new beginning is on the horizon for sure! ABBA ADONAI is the GOD of new beginnings! I love America and I love praying for my country, One Nation Under God!
We returned to Denver to visit the Capitol for the third time this week. The South Entrance, South Gate, Liberty Bell and the X on the Lamp Stands were anointed with anointing oil and I heard “Loaded for Bear” as I anointed the canons. I saw in the spirit realm a fire around the city and a flood from the west.
Signs along the way: Eagle Legacy, 1900 Cornerstone, 1900 – Two Lions, 333-3333, 777-7777.
On the way to the airport, we passed the LION GATE with a Gold Lion wearing a crown and holding a scepter. Gate A39, Seat 17A, Flight 505 was delayed for over two and half hours, so I arrived safely at PDX at 9:30 PM, 82 degrees with NW Winds at 11 mph.
USA TODAY Headlines: There’s something strange in the wind!
As always, remaining grateful for GOD's faithful intercessors and givers who love to participate in the advancement of HIS Kingdom on Earth!
