​Beginning Prophetic Worship Glory Ring Workshop and Prayer Journey ~ Southern California, USA

May 16, 2003, Friday ~ The glorious bright yellow sun shone above the expansive clear robin's egg blue skies during the easy flight to Burbank including a breath-taking view of Crater Lake, which is pristine teal blue, approximately one mile deep created in the apex of an ancient volcano. From 33,000 feet above, it appeared as majestic as when on ground level hiking around the basin. It is one of Oregon’s most visited scenic destinations and among America’s National Parks.
 
Following a bit southern California traffic delay, Lynn Holm arrived at the airport and met me at the curb where I patiently waited. In just moments, after loading the luggage, we were cruising through Studio City and Valley Village on our way to North Hollywood. As one who intentionally chooses to live my life set apart unto the LORD, I was shocked and appalled to view the latest advertisements on countless billboards. They blatantly boasted new levels of perversion beyond my comprehension. A single black helicopter hovered above as we continued our journey through the maze of asphalt, concrete, stop lights, businesses squeezed together like low-income housing projects and a myriad of cultures represented among those walking along the sidewalks. After running a couple of errands, we arrived at Lynn’s modest home in North Hollywood.

The Holy Spirit spoke to me on March 17, 2001 that I would be traveling to Hollywood to pray over the territory. When I shared this with Lynn, she kindly informed me that North Hollywood and Hollywood are two different cities. I thought to myself, “Well ABBA ADONAI, you must be sending me to Hollywood at a different time.”
 
Following a delightful dinner, Kim and Denise came over for the evening. Denise, a friend of Lynn’s brought a treasure load of Worship Instrument supplies. We celebrated candlelight communion and shared a season of prayer preparing for tomorrow's workshop.
 
May 17, 2003, Saturday ~ The Beginning Prophetic Worship Glory Ring Workshop was held at the Disciples of Christ Church, in North Hollywood. This is the church where the TV show, Seventh Heaven is filmed. Because I do not have a TV, I was not familiar with the TV show, but did find it pure joy to walk through the structure where thousands of dollars were invested for restoration following the 1994 earthquake and prayed for those that meet at this historic and beautifully rebuilt place of worship.
 
The Prophetic Worship Glory Ring Workshop was held on the 53rd Anniversary of Armed Forces Day in America. FATHER GOD in Heaven, may we always be grateful for those that have served this country to keep her free. This is HGRM’s eighth workshop in California. We deliberately purpose to trust HIS will and HIS way as the four in attendance representing four different cities: Moorpark, Encino, North Hollywood, and Studio City making eight Prophetic Worship Glory Rings, which was double portion as usually each participant only, makes one Prophetic Worship Glory Ring. The LORD’s presence was very sweet throughout the day and we were thankful for HIS kind expressions of HIS love and mercy. During the lunch break, the Holy Spirit directed me to go outside and pour out three bottles of Holy Anointing Oil on the three trees planted to the side of the building. We trust HIS Holy, sacred, divine anointing and HIS word to come forth in this place more fully. May the ELOHIM be perpetually welcomed in this gathering place of HIS people.
 
After the Workshop, Kim, Lynn and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at the Claim Jumpers restaurant. We drove through the city of North Ridge, the epicenter of the 1994 Earthquake and the location of America’s children pornography capital. GOD in Heaven forgive this nation and set the captives free. The LORD provided some surprise gifts while we were waiting for our table. It was my first time to dine at Claim Jumpers and we embraced the prophetic emphasis to jump our claim to all the treasures and gifts the Holy Spirit was lavishly releasing to us. The time with Kim and Lynn was truly a very precious gift from the LORD.
 
May 18, 2003, Sunday ~ In the cool golden California morning, Lynn drove us over to Lighthouse Christian Fellowship. We passed through Thousand Oaks on the way, sweet memories flooded over me from the first Worship Prophetic Glory Ring Workshops held in California. After transferring my luggage to Kim’s vehicle, Lynn departed to her own place of worship in North Hollywood. During my last visit to Simi Valley, Kim and I went to this new building, yet unoccupied and prayed over the land. Now the church family has moved into claim their new territory. Glory to GOD!
 
The worship leader began with Zephaniah 3:17, “The LORD your GOD is in your midst, A victorious warrior. HE will exult (dance) over you with joy, HE will be quiet in HIS love, HE will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.” 

This is the Scripture that the Holy Spirit gave to me in 1980 when HE first introduced the idea of changing my last name to JOY (it took me five years to trust fully HIS request). It is always a sweet gift of the LORD to sit with a sister of HIS heart in HIS house.
 
Following the service, we stopped by a local coffee vendor and sipped caramel mocha’s on our way through Moorpark for a brief visit with Randy, Colette and Megan, faithful HGRM intercessors. They were looking forward to the miracle of a baby boy expected on July 17, 2003. Oh, the joy, how does one contain it! Although the time was very short, the priceless memories are stretched out for eternity. There really are never adequate words to express gratitude for faithful intercessors…one can only trust that GOD will recompense their faithfulness.
 
Kim and I headed towards Encino, in the San Fernando Valley for a California BBQ meeting of an intercessory team traveling to France in August. Kim brought the France Prophetic Worship Glory Ring to introduce to the team. The directions to Encino were written in reverse and we ended up in Hollywood. Kim laughed and proclaimed, “Well, JennJoy seems to me the LORD wants you to pray over Hollywood!”  It all seemed rather normal in my life. GOD has a way of making sure HIS assignments for me are completed for HIS glory! Although, we were an hour late to the BBQ, I knew we had completed the LORD’s purpose. The timing of the LORD is not always the timing of the earth’s apparent needs. Of course, they were just serving the steak ka-bobs when we arrived. 
 
Jeannette of King’s Seminary warmly welcomed me and invited me to join the team to France.  Jeannette said that she had two open spots, would love for me to have one. She had even brought an extra packet of information. I was excited beyond words as I had prayed for years for an open door to travel to France. It was literally a dream come true and an answered prayer converging in a single moment in time. After a season of worship, Kim and I shared about the France Prophetic Worship Glory Ring. Then as the time drew near, we departed in route to Burbank airport, as I had a flight to catch.
 
The journey home was glorious and easy sailing above the clouds. The time was spent reminiscing about the trip and the countless miracles, sacred moments and holy movements of the MOST HIGH GOD.
 
Each time the LORD sends me forth I become more acutely aware of the intercessory prayers of those faithfully interceding for the fullness of HIS will, way and purposes to be accomplished for HIS glory!

P.S. A week after returning home, Jeannette changed her mind and sent me an email indicating that I would not be welcome on the trip to France, although she provided no reason. As one who intentionally keeps my commitments, and because I believe others will do the same, I was exceedingly disappointed at the unexpected change of her heart towards me. I pray that in GOD’s time, will, way and purpose, HE will bring restoration and open another door for me to go to France.
