Beginning Prophetic Worship Glory Ring Workshops ~ New York and Connecticut, USA
In the beginning we sent a Prophetic Worship Glory Ring:
April 1999 ~ For the State of New York ~ SHINE for JESUS! ~ Given to:Mary Winchell, Lake Katrine, New York, USA – June 2000. Scripture: Psalm 27. Handmade by Betty Leach and Jennifer Lynn Easton Joy
July 18, 2001, Wednesday ~ The Holy Spirit gave me the following four words for this trip: “Whirlwind, Tornado, Hurricane and Restoration,” which possessed both spiritual and earthly significance.
There was nothing previous to this ministry outreach that prepared me for the warfare I was about to encounter. I met Diana and Shannon on the cruise to Mexico. The Holy Spirit established a holy and divine connection between us. Also, on the cruise I met a woman from the East Coast, who was friends with Diana and Shannon. She became deceived and purposed to do everything in her power to destroy the divine purposes and plans of ABBA ADONAI. After they returned to the East Coast, she released an unprecedented tsunami of gossip, slander and false accusations against me. When we know who we are in YESHUA then we have no need for slander, gossip or to falsely accuse another because we trust ABBA ADONAI with the outcomes of our lives. There are situations I have witnessed in ministry that I will probably never fully understand and this was one of those. Therefore, the anticipation of a warm welcome was effectively doused with the tepid water of subtle uncertainty.
July 19, 2001, Thursday ~ An HGRM intercessor sent me the following Scripture regarding my trip to New York.
“Yes, and if I am being poured out as a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all. For the same reason you also be glad and rejoice with me.” ~ 2 Corinthians 2:17, 18, NASB
This Scripture defines the fullness of the New York ministry outreach.
Departing on United Airlines, a member of the One World Alliance, I was squeezed into the middle seat, my least favorite place to be positioned on a flight. To my left was a large bulky man, an Orthodox Jewish Rabbi. During the flight he turned his back to me, hung his legs over the arm rest into the aisle, and placed his arms in a crossed position over his chest to sleep, so that he would not touch a gentile. The flight departure was delayed in Portland, Oregon; therefore, the connection was not made, so I transferred in Chicago to American Airlines also known as the American Eagle for the remainder of the trip on Flight #1666. While doing a lengthy speed walk through the Chicago airport, my feet became fully blistered as never before in my life, and I wondered about walking through the fire. I wondered about a fire in New York. After a restless, sleepless night, I was grateful when the large aircraft safely arrived Thursday morning in New York.
July 20, 2001, Friday ~ Diana graciously met me at the Albany, New York airport. Unfortunately, the luggage did not arrive at the same time because of the flight change in Chicago. We took, exit 19 towards upstate New York, to the city of Kingston where Diana lived. Although common language to the locals, there is a significant difference in the way one refers to a particular area such as “uptown, midtown, and downtown.” In Oregon, we have the vernacular of “downtown” but not “uptown or midtown.” The New Yorkers' have an accent in their verbal and non-verbal communication that is uniquely their own.
In the afternoon, we went on a tour of the city of Rhinebeck, where we visited Beckman Arms Inn, the oldest Inn in America. We casually walked the streets of Rhinebeck, where I tasted my first cannoli, a sweet Italian concoction. Then we visited the Vanderbilt Mansion, Franklin D. Roosevelt and Eleanor Roosevelt estates along the Hudson River which is 315 miles long with its source at Lake Tear of the Clouds.
As my luggage had not yet arrived, the walking tour was on blistered feet in the same sandals from yesterday. Because my feet are burning, and I am an experiential forerunner, I am certain something about fire is coming to New York, even though I do not have the full revelation at this time.
Upon returning to Diana’s one-bedroom apartment, we shared a simple dinner on the terrace. The good news was that the luggage finally arrived after 9:00 PM. The bad news was that it was damaged. The small living room floor became my sleeping quarters during the night.
July 21, 2001, Saturday ~ We arrived early to setup for the Prophetic Worship Glory Ring Workshop and I found myself overtly dependent upon GOD’s overt mercy due to jet lag, lack of sleep and time-zone changes, not to mention the chronic pain in my hip and the blisters covering my feet. Even so, every fiber within my spirit is confident in this time and season and that the LORD has sent me to New York for HIS plans and purposes.
The Prophetic Glory Ring Workshop was held at the Ulster County Town Hall, police station and courtroom. Nineteen individuals worshiped, made worship instruments, danced and prayed in the courtroom. I gave prophetic words over each person’s Prophetic Worship Glory Ring in the judge’s chambers while others finished their Prophetic Worship Glory Rings. It was an exceedingly full day. The divine theme of the day was a deeper revelation of the Crown and Glory of YESHUA. All participated enthusiastically in the freedom of worship and 22 Prophetic Worship Glory Rings were created. It was a full day of HIS fire and glory!
July 22, 2001, Sunday ~ Diana, Shannon and I traveled to Lake Minnewaska, a beautiful serene setting where we poured out Holy Anointing Oil and prayed. We prayed over the cities of New Paultz, Rosendale, Tillson, Rhinebeck, in addition to the mysterious Iron Mountain Territory along the journey. This portion of New York looks similar to Oregon in its countless shade of green deciduous trees, thick foliage dampened with humidity, a myriad of blossoming flowers and eye-pleasing landscapes. The difference is the much warmer temperature and thick wet air.
In the evening, the Holy Spirit opened a door for ministry at “A Company of Women” in Kingston, New York. It was a very sweet night of worship, communion, fellowship and HIS life-transforming presence. The Holy Spirit gave me a teaching on “The Linen Napkin” to impart. The presence and the power of ABBA ADONAI filled the room and we experienced a divine exchange of HIS compassionate hope, overt mercy, unconditional love, unending forgiveness and relentless grace.
At the close of the evening, I met, Diana, a native of the West Indies, and was convinced the LORD was making a connection for a future Prophetic Worship Glory Ring for the West Indies. Later in the year, I completed and sent a Prophetic Worship Glory Ring for the West Indies to Diana in Saugerties, New York.
December 2001 ~ For the West Indies ~ I AM ALIVE FOREVER MORE!Given to: Diana Clark, Saugerties, New York, USA. Scriptures: Deuteronomy 4:4; Psalms 89:1-4, 91, 149, 150; Acts 1:3; Revelation 1. Handmade by Betty Leach and Jennifer Lynn Easton Joy
July 23, 2001, Monday ~ We were blessed with a day to pray and intercede over the land as Diana and I traveled by car through the cities of Saugerties, Tannersville and Woodstock. We stopped near the Devil’s Tombstone, the Village of Phonecia, Esopus Creek and Mount Tremper. Diana is gifted with music and evangelist, so wherever she travels she pours out this contagious, song-filled love for GOD. It was similar to our tour time in Mexico when I interceded and poured out Holy Anointing Oil and she ministered in evangelistic music. In the evening, a few of us gathered at Mary’s home for dinner. Actually, it really could not be defined as a dinner; it was more like an event with the table lavishly set with linens, crystal and Old Country Rose China. Mary served an extravagant, multi-course meal with elegance and grace as though we were in an English castle. All palettes were generously satisfied with transforming beauty, exquisite flavors and penetrating aromas. The evening closed with a sweet presence of the Spirit of God while we prayed and worshiped.
July 24, 2001, Tuesday ~ Diana and I spent most of the day at her hair salon in uptown Kingston where I assisted with organization and computer tasks and she gave me one of the most flattering haircuts of my life. It is a rare gift to find someone that actually has the talent, gift and/or ability to cut thick, natural curly hair.
In the afternoon, I took a stroll around the block and chanced upon an eclectic shop of oddities including some rare unusual ribbons for Prophetic Worship Glory Rings.
In the evening, we returned the air mattress to the store where it was purchased as it has fully deflated the last three nights and experientially, I noticed that sleep does not come peacefully or readily on a hardwood floor.
Due to the false accusations toward me before I arrived in New York, pre-arranged events including a Beginning Prophetic Glory Ring Workshop in Virginia, an interview for a local Christian radio broadcast and an interview for a local Christian television program were cancelled. Therefore, some of the previously scheduled full days were now open for new opportunities and this Tuesday was one of them.
July 25, 2001, Wednesday ~ As this was my first trip to the Big Apple, I was very excited about experiencing as much as possible. After a few delays in the morning, Diana finally agreed to take me to see the Statue of Liberty.
As we drove through the city on the Joe DiMaggio Freeway to Battery Park, we viewed the USS Intrepid Museum, Donald Trump’s buildings, Macy’s, the Twin Towers, NYPD and ABC Communications, which were all places I wanted to stop and pour out Holy Anointing Oil and pray, yet I know the day does not hold enough hours for all the desires of my heart.
As we passed the Trump Towers the Holy Spirit spoke, “Pray for Donald Trump” at which I laughed out loud. It just seemed hilarious, at the moment. Then I realized GOD was serious, and the first thought that came to mind was the Boy Scout Law that my sons memorized during their adventure to achieve Eagle Scout Rank 1981-1991, when we resided in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. A Boy Scout is: Trustworthy (Proverbs 14:15), Loyal (Nehemiah 13:14), Helpful (Job 26:3), Friendly (James 2:22-23), Courteous (Isaiah 43:4), Kind (Genesis 39:21), Obedient (Philippians 2:8), Cheerful (Ecclesiastes 9:7), Thrifty (Proverbs 11:25), Brave (Judges 6:12), Clean (1 Timothy 1:5), and Reverent (Psalm 119:38). Therefore, as inspired by the Holy Spirit, I added the Scriptures for each word and began praying daily the attributes of an Eagle Scout over Donald J. Trump, never expecting in a million years to be at a Faith and Freedom Conference listening to him speak, 12 years later. Only God. We leisurely strolled near Battery Park, and walked across fuel splotched cement to catch the ferry to the Statue of Liberty. We did not arrive in time to access the first tender, so we boarded the second tender to the Statue. The tender was very similar to riding a ferry in the panoramic San Juan Islands. The warm sun shone above. The refreshing harbor breezes effortlessly diffused the stifling, humid atmosphere. Only those riding the first tender were allowed to climb the stairs to the crown of the statue. The statue itself is an impressive structure, massive in size and breath-taking beautiful. Like many places I have traveled, there was not enough time to fully enjoy all the beauty. Easily, I could have spent the day on the island, but New York is a very big city and there was too much to see in one day! After a quick look at Staten Island, back to Battery Park, then we rode the subway to see the Empire State Building. We traversed down three flights of cement stairs into the bowels of the earth…I immediately noticed a bullet proof glass enclosure where the clerk sold the Yellow Line #1 train tokens for $1.50 each. The subway’s terrifying, dissonant sounds were like the coming together of a perfect storm: a whirlwind, hurricane and tornado in one single explosion of sound. Immediately, I cognitively came to the conclusion, that what is portrayed in the movies about the New York subways was absolutely true! For a brief moment, it felt like a movie then reality came crashing back as we climbed up out of the earth to fresh air - more accurately speaking hot, humid, air.
We briskly walked through the streets of New York. I looked like the typical tourist sporting a camera, sunglasses, large tote bag and sandals. My eyes continually looked upward exclaiming endless verbal delights. Perhaps not quite a typical tourist, as I discretely poured out Holy Anointing Oil and prayed every step of the way, proclaiming the name of YESHUA over New York State. Diana, who was conscious of the time a tour of the city required, hurried me along to the Empire State Building, where a two-hour long wait line immediately changed our plans. The building was majestically grand, yet, I will have to wait until I return to New York to visit the top deck. The city is simply too monumental to see everything in one day.
Street vendors were lined up like hungry Pit Bull and Doberman puppies waiting to be fed. They were persistent, tenacious and pushy, crowding and barking at each other in the pursuit of a sale. The atmosphere was filled with unrestrained verbal offers, followed by relentless, passionate and culturally accepted bartering. Diana, a stunningly beautiful woman with luxurious red hair and always dressed “up to the minute” caused quite a stir wherever she walked. The evangelistic anointing upon her induces strangers to be unknowingly drawn in her direction. It reminded me of how the unconditional love and redeeming light of YESHUA in anyone attracts the lost. Amazingly, she transformed offers of merchandise into an invitation to eternal life. This extravagant city, one of the gateways to America held in perfect balance today’s 95 degrees and 95% humidity! It was a perfect match to the weather on our Puerto Vallarta tour in May. As the air, heavy-laden with water, was too thick to breathe, I learned to drink the air instead of breathing the air. Mercy, YESHUA!
We returned to the parking lot by a return over-the-top-traumatizing subway ride. As we entered the 5th car, Diana informed me that we needed to move up four cars to be positioned for our stop. Navigating through the cars was like rush-hour traffic in Mexico City, with a million people pushing in the opposite direction. The train races through the familiar artificially lighted caverns and underground maze of man-made tunnels. Diana, well-acquainted with this form of transportation is now two cars ahead of me. I struggled to push the car door open. Once opened, a blast of noise and hot air encapsulated me. I made the mistake of looking down as the tracks blurred below. Quickly, I looked up, regained composure, commanded my stomach to stop lurching, and cautiously stepped down on the vibrating, metal hinge linking the cars together. As I moved toward the next door, the automated door behind me caught one of my bags, and consequently jerked me backwards. Note to self: Next time bring walking shoes and a backpack.
Tottering on the vibrating hinge, I leaned back to free the captured bag, then lunged forward to pull open the next door. This may have been one small step for Diana; yet, I can assure you it was more than one giant leap for me. With even less grace and agility than first fiasco crossing, I crossed over three more thresholds. Diana was near hysteria with laughter when I finally caught up to her. Undoubtedly, anyone observing enjoyed watching the Oregon girl making a spectacle of herself in the big city. Gratefully, this took place before cell phones were equipped with video cameras and I did not end up on Funniest Home Videos!
We stepped from the train into the shadowed subway tunnel and there was a bit of a skirmish with a local gang and a police officer. When Diana reached out to touch the uniformed officer on his shoulder in hopes of getting directions for the correct tunnel, with lightning-quick instinct, he immediately pulled a gun on her. The unexpected response instantaneously remolded her expression from wistful hope to fearful panic. Just as quickly he returned the loaded weapon to the highly polished black leather holster as he realized that we posed no threat. Then with a posture of authority and a voice to match, he gave us the “Never Touch a Cop in the Subway” lecture. And I thought riding the subway was traumatizing! Little did I know that walking through the tunnels could be even more so!
We walked the short distance to the parking lot, which was on the same street as the NYPD and just a few blocks from the Twin Towers, one of my unmet hopeful targets for, “Celebrate HIS Freedom!” Holy Anointing Oil. The exorbitant cost of parking one day in the Big Apple was $28. Unexpectedly, plans to meet with Diana’s brother for dinner fell through due to traffic challenges. Amidst rush-hour traffic, we pressed forward to New Jersey, where we enjoyed a lovely dinner at the air-conditioned Cheesecake Factory. Diana gave me a tour of Bloomingdale’s and Saks Fifth Avenue located nearby. While in Saks, I did try on one pair of $300 slippers…it seemed like a lot of money for such a little bit of leather. The only label I am have ever truly been interested in is "Child of God!" Before heading north to Kingston, I poured out “Celebrate HIS Freedom! Holy Anointing Oil! and prayed, Psalm 91 over the State of New Jersey.
In this season, the Holy Spirit was teaching me the differences between the equipping gifts listed in Ephesians 4:11 – apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelists and pastors. As an intercessor, my passion is prayer. Although it appears to everyone around me that I am not interested in conversation. The truth is, I am in conversation with the LORD. The life of an intercessor is relentlessly centered on praying until the answers arrive. We wake up in the middle of the night praying, while preparing for the day, doing domestic chores, riding in or driving a vehicle, waiting in an office for an appointment, at a sporting event, during a church service…we pray without ceasing. However, not all people are intercessors and therefore, even though my passion was to pray over the land, rivers, and strategic buildings of New York, which I did wherever we walked, Diana’s passion is the lost; therefore the venues including people were much more important to her. Therefore, Saks and Bloomingdale’s were evangelistic opportunities for her, just as the Twin Towers were an ideal prayer opportunity for me. Hopefully, on my next trip to New York there will be time to pray over the Twin Towers and other prominent buildings in this city.
July 26, 2001, Thursday ~ Diana drove me to Newburgh to meet Rachel, Mary and Sherri from Windsor, Connecticut. There was a chlorine chemical explosion in Connecticut today, which made the effluvium air much more challenging to breathe. I lost the lining of my lungs from toxic gas poisoning in 1988 and lived 14 years on 50% of the oxygen I needed. Therefore, situations like this are always challenging. Only because YESHUA touched my lungs with healing earlier this year was this ministry outreach possible. When we arrived in Connecticut, I was informed that my lodging location had changed unexpectedly; the spacious basement one-bedroom apartment previously promised to Steve and Rachel was no longer available. Therefore, my luggage was dropped off at Mary’s home and then, Rachel, Steve and I shared table fellowship and had a joyful time getting reacquainted. We met a few months earlier at a local Christian fellowship in Gresham, Oregon, before they moved to Windsor.
One sign along the way: A license plate: 138 JEN. One is symbolic of Unity and 38 is symbolic of righteousness.
Upon arriving at Mary’s very small house later in the evening, she escorted me to her adult grandson’s room. Mary, a very petite woman, in her seventies, apologized for the carpet not being vacuumed and the condition of her grandson’s bedroom. I realized that she had offered her home as a place for me to stay without really being given any time to prepare. The bedroom was also the place where her grandson’s two large white long-haired dogs sleep. The carpet could barely be seen through the thick matted layers of white dog hair. Carefully, I placed my suitcase across the arms of the antique oak rocker in the room. When I inquired as to where her adult grandson was sleeping, she assured me that he was staying with a friend. This sleeping arrangement was more than challenging as I have experienced extreme allergic reactions to dog hair.
July 27, 2001, Friday ~ I was abruptly awakened after midnight to the sound of two large dogs barking. Mary’s grandson came home and burst into his bedroom, quite surprised to find me resting on his bed. It took a while to calm the rapid pounding of my heart and return to a restful position. Sometimes communication has glitches. In the morning, he apologized saying that he forgot I was going to be visiting.
In the morning, as we prepared to eat, Cheerios, the Breakfast of Champions, I noticed little white worms crawling all over the kitchen ceiling. When I asked Mary about it, she thought they were coming from the cupboard above the refrigerator. Her petite fragile frame could not reach to open the cupboard, so I did. I audibly gasped when I opened the cupboard that was infested with moth worms. She assured me her grandson would help her take care of it. It was obvious she was not physically able to climb up on a stool. I could not eat any breakfast cereal after the encounter with the moth worms, perhaps I am the least of “Breakfast Champions.”
As I placed my bowl of cereal in the kitchen sink, I heard an audible gasp behind me and I turned to see a woman in her fifties shocked by my presence. Fear accented every facial feature as she clutched the sleeves of her faded flannel nightgown. Mary introduced her and I warmly greeted her. Without speaking, she turned quickly and retreated upstairs. I did not know the house included an upstairs or that anyone else was sharing the residence. Mary explained briefly that more than 25 years ago she was sexually violated and had never overcome the trauma. She arrived at Mary’s house in the middle of the night very traumatized. She had lived upstairs, in the attic, since that time. My heart broke for her and I prayed fervently for her healing and freedom from the shame, condemnation and trauma. It was an unexpected moment in a weekend of many unexpected changes.
Then, Mary invited to me to see a very beautiful structure, The First Cathedral church, located just a few minutes from her home. The building was truly a masterpiece of design and craftsmanship. We returned to her home, where Rachel met us for a picnic lunch inside the small, weathered-gray outdoor gazebo. The pinnacle of the gazebo’s turret was a safe and secure place for an enormous gray buzzing nest of predatory wasps, crowded to the max. It appeared as though the wasps had decided to build a nest larger than the gazebo. The large white dogs joined us for lunch, one on either side of me, with mouths open begging for food. My grandmother raised show dogs that were impeccably mannered, therefore, I was completely unprepared for two mixed-breed Samoyed-Collie dogs that greedily ate from my plate before I finished eating, which of course, made for a quicker than anticipated lunch. Perhaps it could be called a dog fast.
While Rachel went to pick up a rental vehicle, Mary drove me to see the historic landmark home of Jonathan Edwards, October 5, 1703 – March 22, 1758, a preacher, theologian, and missionary to Native Americans, located just a few blocks away.
Connecticut’s buildings are largely constructed with brick and are much older than the state of Oregon, where I currently reside. The legacy and historical influence in each community is noticeable and impacting. The state of Connecticut is comparatively patriotic, and it is rare to find a home without a flagpole and American flag proudly blowing in the wind. Following Mary’s brief tour through Windsor, we returned to her home where Rachel was waiting.
Rachel and I drove north to Lincoln Park Street, Enfield, Massachusetts to pray. It was my first time to step on Massachusetts soil. The times and seasons weighed upon me with a mysterious significance as we poured out “Celebrate HIS Freedom!” Holy Anointing Oil! Effusing with passionate fervency, we paused and prayed for the Connecticut and Farmington Rivers and the city of Windsor, and each received the blessing of YESHUA’s anointing.
Usually, I spend the evening before a Glory Ring Workshop in prayerful preparation. Because lodging plans changed the day before, the place I stayed did not provide this option. The Holy Spirit required a greater measure of faith and dependency upon ABBA ADONAI.
Mary invited me to join her at a BBQ in a neighboring city. As I was a guest in Mary’s home, it was important to honor her invitations. As we traveled south to Hartford, I was somewhat confused over the Hartford’s and Mary explained that there were actually four cities: East Hartford, Hartford, New Hartford and West Hartford. We drove past another historic landmark, Noah Webster’s little white house on our way to her friend’s home. In route, I noticed that Mary did not stop at any stop signs and/or red lights. Other drivers on the road were expressing their roiling discontent with repetitive beeping on their horns and blatant hand expressions. When I asked Mary about the traffic signals, she casually mentioned that they were an inconvenience. Apparently when one is past 70, one’s perspective of traffic laws changes. Gratefully, we arrived intact and I am once again overtly appreciative of God’s guardian angels!
Mary mentioned that the people attending the gathering might need prayer, which is the reason she wanted me to join her. It was a small group with a myriad of prayer needs including blindness, a brain tumor, cancer, emotional healing, salvation, and deliverance. It is imperative to be the LORD’s servant every day of our lives, to be at HIS call, to serve HIS people as HE desires, through HIS extreme grace. Thankfully, following another white-knuckled, “God, please protect us trip,” we arrived safely back in Windsor close to the midnight hour.
July 28, 2001, Saturday ~ Steve and Rachel hosted the Beginning Prophetic Glory Ring Workshop held in a historic evangelical church built before Oregon became a state in the union. Mary drove me to the church at 7:30 AM where I unloaded the luggage and setup for the Workshop. The ceilings were very high and the floor was smoothly polished aged wood...perfect for worshiping our KING YESHUA! The stain glassed windows reflected colorful prisms of light during worship as though angels wearing a million diamonds had joined us. Each person stepped out in faith and danced with their Prophetic Worship Glory Ring for the first time. During the 10-hour day, the group completed 11 Prophetic Worship Glory Rings and there was time for me to give each person a prophetic word. The number 11 symbolizes faith (Hebrews 11) and this trip has required all the faith I have and the realization of how much more faith I need to receive from the throne of heaven. The LORD’s presence and power tangibly touched each person. There is no one as faithful as YESHUA to touch HIS people with HIS kind, merciful, unconditional love.
Steve and Rachel provided transportation south to connect with Diana for a return trip to New York. We stopped by the Capitol in Hartford and prayed! The Holy Spirit spoke that God is connecting the dots in Connecticut and making the picture clear! The journey took longer than anticipated and the luxury of communicating with mobile phones had not yet reached the fullness of its technological destiny. Following the connection in Newburgh, Diana and I went to her mom’s home in Kingston for a brief table fellowship. Although her mother was kind and gracious, it was clear that she was somewhat exasperated at serving a meal that had been kept warm in an oven for over an hour. Do we ever really realize the ripple effect of our actions whether they are negative or positive?
As I retired for the evening, I realized that 33 people had made Prophetic Worship Glory Rings at the Kingston and Windsor Workshops. Thirty-three is symbolic of the promises of God (Jeremiah 33:3). I witnessed the LORD lovingly keep HIS promises to HIS people as I pressed forward in faith to run the race set before me.
July 29, 2001, Sunday ~ Diana invited me to be the guest minister at "God’s People Ministry", in Kingston, New York before I left Oregon. The LORD gave me a special message regarding “The Urgency of the Times” to share. My heart was about to explode with the urgency of the message. Perhaps for reasons understood and not understood even though, originally, I was invited to be the guest speaker, before the afternoon closed two others were also invited to speak. The other speakers were given first portions of time. The message the Holy Spirit gave to me was not spoken through me or anyone else during the evening, yet, I remain confident HE will create a venue for HIS message of this critical times and seasons to be given. Ingrid from New York boldly gave me a prophetic word.
“A new ministry will be added to your current ministry. You are an atomic bomb in the spirit. You are anointed to receive and impart divine connections. You will be organizing worldwide worship. You have an ability to resolve problems and the LORD is going to increase that gift. God is bringing you a husband and he will manage the finances. The LORD will make you a blessing wherever you go. You are like Nehemiah…sword in one hand and working with another.”
Then she sat near my feet in the small crowded room for over an hour softly praying over me in her spiritual language.
When an opening was provided for prayer ministry, four women I met at the Workshop came to me with their husbands for prayer and prophetic encouragement.
After slowly and painfully retiring to my bed on the floor once again, I remembered that in three days I will be home in Gresham, Oregon sleeping on my waterbed. The truth is that any perceived hardship is worth enduring for the cause of YESHUA.
July 30, 2001, Monday ~ The LORD opened the heavens for an extremely beautiful day on the Hudson River. The heavens provided luxurious gifts of sunbows and rainbows dancing in melodic rhythm on the sweet, warm breezes. Shannon and Jay invited us to join them on a river cruise on a 27-foot Sea Ray named River Fest hosting twin engines the same size as the engine of a Ford Mustang sports car. Glory! Get ready to ride!
We saw the lighthouses from a much closer vantage in addition to having the river’s perspective of many historic places we had previously toured on land. I was so grateful to be able to pour Holy Anointing Oil! into the Hudson River and the Holy Spirit generously provided many opportunities for an outpouring of HIS Glory! The LORD’s healing touch toward my hip earlier this year made this bumpy ride across the movements of the waves even more enjoyable. Following the once-in-a-lifetime Hudson River cruise, we briefly stopped by Shannon’s artistically decorated apartment to pray a blessing and then accepted a dinner invitation for the evening.
In the evening, we enjoyed a beautiful dinner at Geri’s, where I was given a place of honor. The extravagant dinner and dessert included New York wine, antipasto, clam sauce, pasta, chocolate éclairs, Napoleon pastry and peach pie. The wine bottle label included a vineyard, dove, four seasons and a rainbow, which was a prophetic picture of what the Holy Spirit was releasing in the evening: A season of peace and new beginnings in the vineyards of our lives. The dinner was truly lovely, and it was evident that Geri had spent more than an afternoon in preparation.
As the Holy Spirit designed, following dinner Geri asked me for a private moment and took the time to explain that one of the women on the Mexico cruise last May said that she had a dream about me and in her dream I was satan. She shared this dream via email with everyone in “A Company of Women” instilling fear and anxiety. Although, the leader, Lynda Peterson spoke the truth regarding me, sometimes gossip and slander take on a life form of their own. Geri genuinely asked me for forgiveness in participating in the gossip and slander, which was obviously ludicrous. The woman who perpetuated the slander discontinued her relationship with A Company of Women. The truth is there is only one satan (Luke 10:17-20), who was removed from heaven by God. I am not him, my name is Jennifer.
Geri had the integrity to host the dinner, treat me with honor, address the issues, resolve the rift and move forward in love and grace. She is an authentic Christian and rare among believers. Geri chose to demonstrate what the Apostle Paul wrote to the church at Ephesus,
“Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.” ~ Ephesians 4:31-32, NASB
The evening closed with a sweet time of breaking bread and new wine communion, prayer and fellowship.
July 31, 2001, Tuesday ~ In the morning, I had hoped to go to Niagara Falls to pour out Holy Anointing Oil. Diana had a previously scheduled morning salon appointment, which took precedence. The state Capitol of New York was located just a few miles from her appointment location, so Diana allowed me the use of her vehicle while she was at the salon. The LORD favored me with a parking place in close proximity and with 50 minutes left on the parking meter. I had spent the sum total of my available funds on the airline ticket, leaving me completely dependent upon the LORD’s provision during the remainder of the trip. James provides this reflection,
“Listen, my beloved brethren: did not God choose the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love him?” ~ James 2:5, NASB
If I am anything, I am rich in faith.
The Holy Spirit directed me up three flights of stairs past the statue of General Sheridan. I noticed a penny on the top step, which was a simple message of encouragement, “One sent by the LORD!” Just as I arrived at the very top step, slightly out-of-breath and walked along the large portico, a man dressed in a pressed white button-up shirt with a patriotic tie and black slacks, opened one of the locked doors, warmly greeted me, and invited me to come in through the employees entrance. I thought perhaps due to the divine timing he may have been an angel. Entering the Capitol building where the Civil War Museum is located, I was led by the Holy Spirit on an auspicious tour, as I walked through the Departments of Justice and the Governor’s offices. Humbly and surreptitiously, I anointed each door along the corridors with Holy Anointing Oil and prayed Psalm 91 and The LORD’s Prayer over this Capitol building and the City of Albany. What an awesome place to pray! There are few things in this life that give me greater pleasure than the privilege of praying for land, rivers, oceans or a strategic building such as government buildings, churches, universities, and schools. I see the earth as the LORD’s footstool and I metaphorically believe HE would like a holy place to rest HIS feet.
We spent the afternoon walking and window shopping in a mall for four hours awaiting the departure of my flight from the Albany airport. My feet did not acclimate to the thick humidity or relentless heat and remained swollen and blistered for the entire time in New York. They seemed to symbolize the sound of warning drums and smoke signals, yet I could not interpret the message clearly and looked forward to a little cooler weather in Oregon. The LORD graciously assured me that I had completed what was possible on this journey even though the Twin Towers and other places in New York kept burning in my spirit. Because I am a twin, it just seemed like I needed to go to the Twin Towers. It is perhaps only something a twin would understand.
As I checked in at the airport, the ministry suitcase weighed 55.5 pounds; this was when 70-pound suitcases were permitted on airlines. Isaiah 55:5 was a sweet confirmation of the purpose of this journey. The flight to Washington D.C. (#A319) was delightful. As I walked through the airport to my connecting flight, I prayed for Washington D.C. and the Pentagon. Everything inside of me wanted to stay and pray over these strategic locations. Yet, I am a brief five hours and 19 minutes from Portland, Oregon and I have only one day to prepare before I fly out to Tennessee. It has been a trip of HIS grace and faith.
Isaiah 55:5 is one of the prophetic scriptures given to HGRM many times over the last five years, “Surely you shall call a nation you do not know, and nations who do not know you shall run to you because of the LORD your God, and the Holy One of Israel, for HE had glorified you!”

Note: On August 15, 2001, when I arrived home from Nashville, Tennessee, the LORD asked me to participate in a 28-day fast and read the 28 chapters of the book of Acts: one meal and one chapter daily. The fast ended on Sept. 11, 2001. During the fast, on September 1, 2001, the LORD directed me to develop “Jubilee Prayers for America” a group email to pray for the States of America annually, one state each week. I randomly made a list of the states of America: Pennsylvania the first week of September, New York the second week of September, etc. The Holy Spirit was awakening and calling forth intercessors all over America to arise and pray!
When the Holy Spirit gives us direction to pray or fast, we simply must lay everything else aside and walk in immediate obedience. The news reports indicated that the capital of America, Washington D.C., was one of the many targeted cities by the terrorists. We remain forever grateful for God’s grace and mercy over America.
