“In HIM was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” ~ John 1:4-5, NASB
May 5, 2016, Thursday - Due to the Redmond, Oregon airport being closed for the month of May 2016 for major repairs and construction, I arose at 2:00 AM, then drove 3 hours to Portland, Oregon to catch the flight. As all the airport parking services that I was familiar with were full, I tried a new company for long term parking that promised free shuttle to the airport when I made the reservation. However, arrival proved to be quite different and I was required to take a taxi from the long-term parking to the airport to make the flight on time. As I am taking two checked bags due to supplies for the Prophetic Worship Glory Ring Workshop, and have a carry-on as well with the laptop, to say the least my hands are full. TSA-Precheck was up and running at PDX, for this I give thanks.
After a brief layover in DFW airport, I arrived in ICT – Wichita, Kansas, the largest city in Kansas, in Sedgwick County at 8:00 PM, where Pastors Dave and Elaine met at the airport. It is good to be here. It is good to be in the company of friends. It is good to return to a place of the FATHER’s tangible grace, mercy, healing, and love. For this I give thanks.
The local newspaper headlines: Let it flow, let it flow, let it flow … followed by Pioneer Day and Ready to Launch…sounded like GOD to me.
They dropped me at a local hotel in Great Bend located in Barton County and I slept well. The kindness of GOD.
“And HE said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see the heavens opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man” ~ John 1:51, NASB
May 6, 2016, Friday – Today is the day we have designated to pray over the territory. Pastor Dave prepared Rosewood Wine – Raspberry Dragonfruit White Shiraz, Kosher Salt, and Sunflower Oil because we are in Kansas and the Wild Sunflower is the State Flower also known as the Kansas Rose, and “HIS Liberty” Holy Anointing Oil. Pastors Dave, Elaine, their son Brandon, and myself begin the journey. Our first stop is at the muddy Arkansas River where I find seashells which humors me as I am in the middle of America, not on the Pacific Coast.
Then over to the Heizer Park, and a bit out of town we stop along the railroad tracks where Pastor Dave collected 8 railroad ties also known as Jael Spikes for me to ship home, and then to Ellinwood located in the Southeast Corner of Barton County – “Where Eagles Soar” above “Streets of Golden Wheat,” and on to the Kansas Historical Marker – Fort Zarah, an abandoned US Army post (1869). These places are familiar to me, with the exception of Ellinwood, which is a few miles southeast of Great Bend. The LORD is clearly extending the parameters of the sphere of influence of the River of Life Church where Pastors Dave and Elaine lovingly shepherd their flock.
We returned to Great Bend in time to set up for the Beginning Prophetic Glory Ring Workshop tomorrow. Setting up for a Workshop is comfortable and familiar territory for me. What took a day 19 years ago can now easily be completed in an hour. Sometimes experience teaches us efficiency. It is also the only Prophetic Glory Ring Workshop this year, ABBA ADONAI knew I would need this comfort.
After setting up for the workshop, we prayed over downtown Great Bend preparing the atmosphere for tomorrow’s celebration of Worship.
Pastor Dave and Elaine are very attentive regarding meals, any needs that I might have, and making me as comfortable and welcome as humanly possible. This is a gift. This is a rare gift. In the evening, friends gather and it is a sweet fellowship at the LeRoy’s.
“This beginning of HIS signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested HIS glory, and HIS disciples believed in HIM.” ~ John 2:11, NASB
May 7, 2016, Saturday – Pastor Dave opted to combine the Children’s Prophetic Glory Ring Workshop originally scheduled for Sunday afternoon and the Beginning Prophetic Glory Ring Workshop today, which meant a bit of adjustment and rearranging, but nothing that could not be easily accommodated.
One of the walls in the church has Prophetic Worship Glory Rings hanging, prepared for worship. Additionally, there are Worship Banners adorning other walls. It is like coming home.
11 (a Hebrews 11 Day) gathered for the day of making Prophetic Worship Glory Rings. The LORD’s presence, peace and graciousness hovered over us all day. As a group, we made the City of Great Bend, Kansas Glory Ring. Following the workshop, we set up for the Experiential Communion Service to be held tomorrow during the Morning Church Service.
Then we drove out to pray and pour out Holy Anointing Oil at the Living Joy Church, the First Street Church of God and the city of Hoisington, Kansas in Barton County, north of Great Bend.
‘Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”’ ~ John 3:5-6, NASB
May 8, 2016 – Sunday – Mother’s Day – It is a sweet gift to gather with the family of GOD, especially in Great Bend, Kansas. We offered an Experiential Sacred, Holy Communion Celebration this morning, followed by the Ordination of Brandon LeRoy, and then we gathered at a local’s favorite restaurant for a Mother’s Day Lunch.
Mark and Shirley Tomlin came to the service this morning with two of the Prophetic Worship Glory Rings from 1996, Kansas, my first State of America Prophetic Worship Glory Ring and and “Riding with My King” one of the very first tinsel/fringe Prophetic Worship Glory Rings. It is amazingly rare they have kept the Prophetic Worship Instruments in such sacred care. It was a joy to see Mark and Shirley once again.
We stopped by the cemetery so that Pastor Dave could place roses on his mother’s grave…A moment of honor. A moment of love. A moment of memory. A moment of prayer. A moment of thanksgiving.
The LORD gave us an extravagant rainbow to seal HIS Covenant Blessings over us. Praise YESHUA!
Pastor Dave and Elaine gave me the gift of Ancestry.com for Mother’s Day…truly something I have thought about but did not do for myself. However, I can say that I just loved it. The results are: 44% English 30% Scandinavian (Swedish), 20% Irish, 1% European East, 1% European Jewish, 1% Italy/Greece, 1% European West, 1% Iberian Peninsula, 1% Africa North. My dad’s heritage is English-Irish, so I truly am a “chip off the old block” as he used to say. Truly a blessing to have this gift.
‘Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”’ ~ John 4:13-14, NASB
May 9, 2016, Monday – We stopped by Rosewood, a local gift store that funds disabled services in Great Bend to purchase a “horse hair vase.” As there were none on display, we asked, and they happened to have one left, in the back room. It is an extraordinary piece of art.
As the LORD is extending the tent pegs and enlarging the sphere of influence, we drove out to Larned State Hospital, Department for Aging and Disability Services in Larned, Kansas, Pawnee County to pray. I am grateful for this opportunity and have experientially earned the authority to pray in this place. “YESHUA! COME! SET THE CAPTIVES FREE!”
Then we continued our prayer journey to Pawnee Rock, a farming community. We prayed over the community and poured Holy Anointing Oil near a silo where grain is stored. “LORD, increase the harvest.” The silos are huge. Truly huge. Then on to Albert, Kansas which is northwest of Great Bend followed by a stop at the Great Bend Coop to pray on our way back to Great Bend.
In the late afternoon, we stopped by friends to pray with them and over their dwelling place. It was a sweet prophetic interlude. God is amazingly faithful! Amazingly Faithful!
Then through a series of amazing miracles Pastor Dave purchased a van for the church at a ridiculous price…easily worth much, much more than he paid for it. Only GOD! Favor! Favor! Favor!
We drove through St. John in Stafford county, on the way to Wichita, Kansas where we shared family dinner in the van as it is a torrential downpour outside and it is easier to gather in the van than to gather in the restaurant. Then Pastor Dave, Elaine and Daniel give their farewell hugs, love, prayers and blessings and I checked in to a hotel close to the airport for the 5:00 AM departure.
‘Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, “Truly, truly I say to you the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something HE sees the FATHER doing; for whatever the FATHER does, these things the Son also does in like manner.” ~ John 5:19, NASB
May 10, 2016, Tuesday – The alarm awakened me at 2:00 AM, to prepare for the Shuttle at 3:00 AM, to prepare for the 5:00 AM Flight. Following a 10-hour layover, when I arrived at PDX (Portland, Oregon) at 6:30 PM the shuttle for the long-term parking was not available again so it was a $30 taxi ride for 2 miles to the Super 8 Hotel where my vehicle is parked. Then I drove home to Bend, Oregon arriving at 10:30 PM. It was a 22-plus hour day…what else is there to say: GLORY to GOD!

Pastors David and Elaine,
I noticed the acronym for the cities we prayed over spells “HEALS” (Hoisington, Ellinwood, Albert, Larned, St John) I believe River of Life is changing from a “hospital” to a “Healing Center” I believe the Gospel of John will be strategic in the next seasons.
All in GOD’S REMARKABLE HANDS! Shalom! Godspeed! Much Love, Many Blessings Jenn
From Pastor Dave… Love, love, love it. Shared at church tonight. Also, another domino fell. We have been on hold for our roof to be fixed on the church through insurance. Local roofing company not getting the job done. They started work Tuesday and it should be done tomorrow. David
All for the Glory of ELOHIM!
“For the FATHER loves the SON, and shows HIM all things that HE HIMSELF is doing; and the FATHER will show HIM greater works than these, so that you will marvel. For just as the FATHER raises the dead gives them life, even so the SON also gives live to whom HE wishes.” ~ John 5:20-21, NASB.
