“Now for this very reason, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence and in your moral excellence, knowledge, and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness and in your godliness brotherly kindness and in your brotherly kindness, love. For if these qualities are yours and they are increasing, they render you neither useless nor unfruitful in the true knowledge of our LORD JESUS CHRIST!” ~ 2 Peter 1:5-8, NASB
March 30, 2016, Wednesday – Arising early to be prepared for airport shuttle pick-up at 4:30 AM to fly to Hartford, Connecticut via Salt Lake City, Utah and Detroit, Michigan arriving at 7:30 PM. Steve and Rachel met me at the airport and we then drove to Windsor, Connecticut where they reside.
March 31, 2016, Thursday – Our goal for today was the State of Maine. It was an approximate 7-hour road trip heading northeast up Interstate 84 then to Interstate 95. The name of the vehicle is “LIBERTY” and we are declaring, “and Freedom for All!”
Before we arrived in Maine, we stopped to purchase a bottle of wine to add to the olive oil and kosher salt. We did not have a wine opener, so Steve opened the bottle with a long nail. We were both slightly “Christened” during the process. The parable of the nail as it relates to the Cross of YESHUA and the wine splashing over us as we were purposing to drink fully of our FATHER GOD’s Covenant New Wine (John 2).
Signs along the way: 888, Freedom, Eagle, 22, Finish the Race
We stopped along Harbor Beach and Long Sands Beach and of course, at The Nubbel Lighthouse, drove through York Village, over to Cape Neddick then up to Mt. Agamenticus (elevation 690 feet). We poured oil, we prayed, we laughed, we worshiped, we sang, we decreed and declared the GOODNESS of ELOHIM over the State of Maine. My outdated IPhone was having photo issues, so some of the photos are gifts from Steve.
Giving YESHUA Praise and Glory because the fourth corner border State of America is completed. The next few days are just a bonus while I am here. In 2002, I prayed over the New England States and it is good to return to this extraordinarily historic corner of America where an American Flag is commonly flown in every front yard. Many of the historic buildings in this State were built before Oregon, my home, was even explored by the Lewis and Clark Expeditions.
April 1, 2016, Friday – Today Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts were completed. Glory to YESHUA! We departed at 9:38 AM and then returned for forgotten items and departed again at 11:08 AM.
Signs along the way: 333, Sword Ave, 91 (Psalm 91), 496, Deerfield, Windsor, 291E, 84E, Luke 1, 69, New England Group, Patriot Spirit of America, 777, 1040, 24 (Psalm 24), paradigm (shift), 72369, Rte 119, Littleton, 317, 8000
We began in Connecticut, traveled to “Watch Hill” in Waverly, Rhode Island and prayed and poured Holy Anointing Oil at the Light House and in the Atlantic Ocean. Steve sounded the anvil on the rocks with the State of Connecticut! Prophetic Worship Glory Hammer at the Light House. May the LIGHT of YESHUA increase in this place. We stopped by the “Ocean House” for a brief tour of this extravagant facility. Throughout the day the heavens greeted us with fog, light drizzle, cloud coverage and a moment or two of sunlight bursting through the clouds.
We both noticed this day was not nearly as grueling at the day before. For this we give thanks as we press forward. In my spirit, it is confirmed that this is the LORD GOD’s Prayer Journey for America.
In the late afternoon, we drove to Springfield, Massachusetts and parked at Pynchon Point, Town of Agawam, the confluence of the Connecticut and Agawam Rivers. We walked down a paved pathway to the river where we prayed, poured Holy Anointing Oil, and decreed and declared Scriptures over the land and rivers.
On the river’s beach, I found a heart shaped rock half granite/half agate. Steve said, “Oh look a heart of stone being turned to flesh.”
“Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.” ~ Ezekiel 36:26, NASB
Since arriving in the New England States, the weather has been a combination of rain, sleet, fog, thunder, lightning, sunshine, clouds, and snow is expected Sunday and Monday.
April 2, 2016, Saturday – We opted to drive to New Hampshire and Vermont in the late afternoon, allowing me to fly home two days early and giving Rachel the time she requested to prepare for a trip as well.
Signs along the way:Sword Ave, 321, 91 (Psalm 91), Wisdom Way, Glory Sandwich, Double Rainbow
We departed in the afternoon at 2:31 PM and arrived in New Hampshire at the Connecticut River at 5:35 PM and in Vermont at the Connecticut River at 5:45 PM near the town of Battleboro. On the return trip to Windsor, Connecticut the heavens gave us an extravagant double rainbow near Holyoke, Massachusetts. Trusting GOD’s double portion, double blessing over this journey.
We celebrated at Ruby Tuesday’s in the evening…grateful the four corner border States of America are completed before Passover 2016. A miracle.
The LORD has graciously escorted me to 18 States in America in 8 weeks only for HIS Eternal Glory as HE is sending me on this “HGRM 2016 American Prayer Journey.”
April 3, 2016, Sunday – This morning we worshiped at Steve and Rachel’s local church and then went by Wintonbury Early Childhood Magnet School, Rachel’s place of employment to pray and pour Holy Anointing Oil.
Steve took this as a day of rest literally and slept most of the day. The truth is Prayer Journeys, contending for America, changing the Spiritual Atmosphere through prayer and intercession can be physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually exhausting.
In the evening, we spent time in prayer, communion and debriefing the week.
Steve closed our day with, “Benediction for Jenn” in three parts…an original prophetic song on the grand piano. This brought me to tears. Piano music is one of my most favorite sounds on earth and it is a rare gift for me to sit at the feet of such a gifted and anointed musician.
April 4, 2016, Monday – Steve, Rachel, and I spent the morning in prayer and worship. Steve provided another prophetic song, “Celebration Song” as tribute to the LORD GOD for HIS powerful presence during this week of intentional prayer for the New England States. He is the musician who is writing the A432 Songs for the States of America.
Then I finished packing and we headed to the Hartford Connecticut airport for a departure time of 4:30 PM. Due to deicing equipment malfunction, the flight was delayed two hours, which meant there was no connecting flight, which meant I stayed in the Detroit Michigan Airport Hotel at $350 a night which was not reimbursed because the airline declared that it was weather related, even though it was equipment malfunction. I was scheduled to fly out at 8:30 AM tomorrow. It has been a challenging week on many levels and I am looking forward to being home.
Today is Angela’s, my only daughter’s birthday and I am thinking about her and as always praying for her, missing her and her precious family.
April 5, 2016, Tuesday – Intentionally, I was at the gate at 6:30 AM just because things are rather chaotic in this airport. The person at the gate explained that I am on tomorrow’s flight, not today’s flight, and that I need to return to Delta Kiosk which is at least 10 gates away. My feet are past pain to completely numb. As I am returning to the Delta Kiosk where I spent two hours waiting last night for this morning’s flight, a young man, with brown hair, khaki pants, blue shirt, brown jacket, and brown shoes tapped me on the shoulder. I stopped and turned to look at him. He said, “I am so sorry for the way they are treating you, this is wrong.” As, I am too exhausted to have a conversation, and nod my head in gratitude, “Thank You.” Then I turned my head and began walking up the slope again to the kiosk and I thought, that was an angel. When I turned to look back, he was gone. Sometimes God sends a moment of comfort to give us strength to forge forward.
When I arrived at the Delta Kiosk everyone apparently had “cranky cereal” for breakfast. After waiting again, while three women are discussing a non-related work situation, a large woman grabbed my boarding pass and yelled “What’s the issue here?” I explained that I was on a flight, that was delayed, that missed the connection, that required airport hotel, that required re-booking and now they say the flight is for tomorrow not today. She yelled, “I do not care what has happened to you, what do you need?” I said, “I need to go home, I just need to go home, Please.” Then she looked up the flight and said that there were three seats available, what is the issue? She called the person at the gate and then they had a screaming match, she issued the boarding pass and sent me back to the gate. Before I approached the counter at the gate, the woman who helped me before…well she actually wasn’t helpful…began yelling, “I already told you this flight is full. I already told you there is no seat for you on this flight….” On and on and on she yelled. Hands on her hips, feet apart, the stance "ready to kill" someone. The man standing next to her grabbed my boarding pass, then he grabbed my carry-on suitcase, opened it, pulled out my laptop, shoved it in my arms and said, “Get on the plane!” I explained that I can’t carry the laptop, that I need the suitcase. He completely ignored my request to have my carry-on returned to me. “I am checking the suitcase, you are getting on the plane carrying the laptop.” Then he grabbed my arm and pulled me toward the entrance ramp to the plane. I am stunned, shocked and in tears as I find my seat.
I asked GOD, “What happened here? What happened in Detroit to cause people to act like this? I felt like I was in the middle of a gang war, with weapons of unleashed words and unchained emotions, not guns or knives.
In Salt Lake City, Utah, I am of course, required to carry the 17" laptop through the airport to the connecting gate, then again in the Redmond, Oregon airport which de-boarded outside on the tarmac. The checked luggage is lost which requires filling out forms at the Delta counter.
The person that came to pick me up at the airport, got hungry, and instead of waiting for me to fill out the lost luggage forms, just left to get himself food and returned to the airport an hour later. Home had never looked so good.
April 6,2016, Wednesday - The luggage arrived this morning. Both suitcases covered with mud… apparently dropped somewhere along the way.
Sometimes we do not live in a perfect world. And sometimes things go awry. And sometimes I am surprised by the unkindness that surrounds me.
Yet at the end of each, it is only about the advancement of GOD’s Kingdom on Earth, nothing more, nothing less.
“And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance and perseverance proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” ~ Romans 5:3-5, NASB
